Add Ariza and a 1st Round Pick from NO

    New Orleans Recieves
    -Carmelo Anthony
    -Charlie Bell
    -Aaaron Afflalo

    Denver Recieves
-New Orleans 1st Round Draft Pick
    -Trevor Ariza
    -Peja Stojakovic
    -Marcus Thornton
    -Quincy Pondexter
    -Darius Songalia
    -Brendan Wright

    Golden State Recieves
    -JR Smith
    -Renaldo Balkman

Looks good to me…any Nuggets fans, Warriors fans, or Hornets fans disagree? Can Denver seriously get a better deal and can Melo play with anyone better?

Except Melo wouldn’t re-sign there because the owners don’t want to splash out to make a winning team. Plus, the coach is unproven. Oh, and they wouldn’t trade within their own conference.

omphalos, no offense but wtf. NO is in a terrible spot right now but you can’t say the ownership wont spend money, look at Peja(i know sign and trade but they pushed for it) and West’s contracts. 2nd, Coaches can be signed easily, you can fire one whenever and hire a new one. Won’t be hard if melo and cp3 are there. 3rd, you realize that most of the proposed trades are coming from their conference right? Denver would be retarded to exclude trading within their conference.

brendan wright? who is that? New orleans drafted a julian wright but he was already traded to toronto for belinelli this off season. Im not 100% but im pretty sure brandon wright did not get traded from golden state if that was who you were refering to.

Yes, fgrrghg, He means Brandan Wright from the Warriors. No, he has not been traded yet. He is still with the warriors, so he was not involved in that deal that sent David Lee to the Warriors. That would Anthony Randolph and Ronny Turiaf. Wright is a young Power Forward expected to have a lot of potential but has not quite tapped into it yet. He is compared to a young Chris Bosh/Shareef Abdur Rahim.
The trade is not bad, but I agree, denver would not trade Melo within the same conference. And Melo wants big city, big market. New Orleans is better than Denver but not quite like New York, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, LAL, or LAC, or Miami or Orlando or even Chicago. So, possibly New York, but it would be really difficult or maybe New Jersey but in the new arena they will have in Brooklyn. Orlando would not be a bad spot either. As for CP3, who knows if these will even be teammates in 2011-2012. That would be ideal, but it might not happen. I think Orlando is a very possible place for both of them. They have the best pieces to offer and they would not have to give up their entire team in order to get both of them. I believe it is possible for them to keep Dwight Howard. They could Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson, to name just a few players they could offer NO, and Denver.
