Do you think the heat will bring wade some help this year? I’m starting to believe the heat will stay with what they have for the rest of the year. I read riley’s comments on how the heat won’t press the panic button this offseason and possibly for the whole season. I think the heat will keep J. o’neal for the entire next season and just let his 20+ million dollar contract expire.

Now when next summer rolls around, the heat will have a huge amount of cap to play with. They’ll be able to give wade a contract no one else can give, ( 6 years). they should be able to pursue another huge free agent over the summer as well. so many big names will be apart of the FA’s next year.

just some to name – lebron, bosh, amar’e, boozer, ginobli, mcgrady, dirk nowitzki (player option)- meaning the mavericks have to make a good push in 09-10 playoffs to ensure that dirk doesn’t opt out. these are the players that are going to attract a lot of attenion. Camby’s expiring in 09-10 but will he retire after? probably. Tyson Chandler could also be in discussions of next summer with a player option, i’m assuming he’ll opt out of charolette at the end of 09-10.

I’m sure there are many more free agents i’m leaving out, but i think the heat should give wade the 6 year contract, and go after bosh…and maybe steal someone like chandler for a lower priced contract.

chalmers, wade, beasely, bosh, chandler – might be dreaming, but it’s possible.

I don’t think your dreaming, but I’m not sure if it is possible.

Has Dwyane Wade purchased his Chicago dream house as a prelude to signing a free agent contract with the Bulls next summer? Or is Wade just a clever real estate speculator at a good time? Prying eyes want to know. And at least basketball franchises in Chicago and Miami. ChicagoMag.com’s real estate blog reported Monday that Wade has purchased a four story riverfront townhouse in Kinzie Park, which is just west of the Loop across the river from the East Bank Club. The price is said to be about $1.4 million, which hardly seems like what you’d pay for an occasional getaway place back in your hometown if you are planning to establish roots in Miami by signing a major extension.

I think he will look for a big move by Miami. I dont see Bosh but I see a nice pickup down the road. If he does not get a big move, look for him to leave. I see Chicago, Miami, NY and NJ as teams fighting for his services.

i was saying that i think miami will wait and just make a few splashes next summer. teezy, thanks for that info. he and rose would be the best backcourt in the league. i’m not sure if chicago can pay him enough though, but it’d be cool to see him there.

Chicago is gonna have the cap space to offer him a max contract which is a huge (and probably the main) reason why they made no effor to re-sign Gordon..Brad Miller and Jerome James come off the books
