Meditated StatesParticipantI am still shocked where he was drafed. That kid played in the SEC. It is not the best division in college but it is strong enough. He averaged 26 points a game and never over shot the ball. He is one of the best atheletes in this draft. I might not know basketball as well as I thought if this kid is a second round pick. They just need to have their big men set screens and Jennings has to hit him when he comes off. He will be one of the most explosive scorers in this draft. How he gets to the second round is beyond me, but hey I’m no GM so what do I know.

JordanC20ParticipantHe is just a shooter…unless he works on his passing and handles no way will he be an all star, he also needs to work on his defense and shot selection.
I am a huge Kentucky fan and hope the best for Jodie I just think he isn’t ready right now definitely wouldn’t have hurt for him to stay his senior year.

JNixonParticipantIf Wally however you spell his last can be an All-star with a one-dimensional game, Jodie Meeks can. He is a better athlete and can create better. He isnt a great handler, but I have seen him create for himself before

TyroberParticipantfor a couple of years wally was lighting it up. thats why he was an allstar and thats why he got the contract that he did. meeks is never even going to considered an allstar. ever. period. the guy was good at college. he’ll never get above 10 ppg

gatorheelsParticipantI don’t know if Meeks can penetrate well enough on the nba level…I think that will hurt his effectiveness some. Still he is a deadly shooter. He can shoot set shots or coming off screens. Meeks plays pretty good defense that will only improve. He has a nonstop motor and most importantly he seems to have the mental part of the game figured out. Shooters have a certain mindset and Meeks has it. He just gets in the zone. I doubt he will ever be an all-star but I think he is a very solid pro and the Bucks will be happy they picked him in the 2nd round.

JNixonParticipantThe Bucks have done a great job picking players in the 2nd round. They’ve gotten Sessions, Redd, Mo Williams, and I think Meeks will be next in line. He seems like a good bench scorer.

HaleParticipantMo Williams was traded to the bucks by the Jazz. Good points though.

NBATalk20098Participantbecause he a deadly shooter .

deuce4offZero chance….JJ Redick is 10 times the player Meeks is and Redick will never average 12 ppg.

Knicksboy34ParticipantHe must improve on everything……beside shooting.
What is his 2nd best skill? Passing? Defense?

JNixonParticipantThats actually a good point. I never thought of it that way.
