QHaynes20I wish I could sorry. Many people see them as a Final Four Team. I just don’t see it

JNixonParticipantThey have EVERYBODY that matters back, except Suton (who’s replaceable). I dont see why not.

QHaynes20I dunno, I just feel with NO low post presence with exp, I dont know if they are.
North Carolina, Villanova, Purdue (who i like better), Kentucky, Texas are better IMO.

JNixonParticipantWho’s Villanova’s post man? That true freshman with the limited offensive skills?
Purdue’s post man is Johnson, but he is way too weak and raw to be a Final-4 caliber big.
If Michigan State played UNC head-to-head this yr, MSU would win.

QHaynes20….WHOA.
Villanova has many guards- almost too many. They can outrun the MSU team and get alot of FT shots
JuJuan Johnson is not really that weak. Hummel and Johnson would punish them inside.
UNC would PUNISH MSU. Too deep inside. Zeller, Thompson and Davis would have monster games
Also, throw Kansas in there as well

JNixonParticipantMichigan State has just as many guards in their rotation as Villanova.
JaJuan Johnson is very weak. Like, he can get pushed out of a play when crashing the boards. And Hummel always shows how unathletic he is when a pressure defensive team like MSU. Also, MSU has alot of beef on their frontline. Matchup problem.
UNC doesnt have anybody in their backcourt who could compete with Lucas, Summers, or Roe. So they both have advantages. I would take MSU since UNC has alot of unproven players.

QHaynes20Villanova to me has better guards who have played. To me, deeper team.
Marcus Ginyard is a great defender. Larry Drew played a bit. I would go with UNC and the frontcourt power.
I still like Moore over Lucas and I feel Johnson and Hummel can beat a team like MSU.

morgatilParticipantMSU’s guards cannot hold a candle to UK, Kansas, and Villanovas. MSU’s front court is weak compared to UNC’s, Texas and UK’s. MSU had a great run last year and Izzo always gets his team one game further in March than everyone predicts on their brackets, but imo they are not even the best squad in the Big Ten. I think Purdue wins the Big Ten with their experience and UK cuts down the nets with way too much talent and depth. Unproven talent, but freakishly scary potential talent.
