IndianaBasketballParticipantLOL… We both know you meant the Cavs could sign a player with the money they’d be “gaining” from Shaq’s expiring contract.

quinceyhodgeslooks like you were wrong tezo. it seems the cavs can sign a good player. maybe i shouldnt have mentioned shaq and thats my bad but the end result of me saying they can sign a good player and you saying As it stands, Cleveland will have a team salary of $63,206,641… They don’t have any money. would make you wrong right?..you must have forgot about the mle and vet min huh???..its ok my son i forgive you..lol

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol I’m too much of a salary cap junkie to forget about exceptions. That’s not the point here though… The point is you thought Cleveland would be under the cap because of Shaq’s $21 million expiring contract and be able to sign a player with that money… Which is incorrect.

quinceyhodgesand the fact that you said that cleveland cant sign another player and me saying they can would make you incorrect on that point.:)

IndianaBasketballParticipantWe both know you weren’t talking about exceptions when you said Cleveland would be able to sign a good player lol. You thought they could sign a player with the money they’d be “gaining” from Shaq’s expiring contract lol. Here’s proof…
AT 4:24 PM to Bkballer… WAY after Quincey made the original statement…
“actually i just found out from another poster that you cant go over the cap unless its the mile or bi annual thing so they cant just go sign a bunch of players to go over the cap. now that changes things.” – Quincey Hodges
You admitted that YOU JUST FOUND OUT about the exceptions, so how could you have been refering to them in your orginal quote about Cleveland being able to sign a good player lol??????????? It’s the MLE, not the “mile”. You don’t even know what you’re talking about!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 12:01pm #258625
quinceyhodgesi knew they could sign another player but i thought it could be done by going over the cap or shaqs contract. i already admitted i wasnt right about that
and you were still wrong about the cavs not being able to sign a good player… wheres the copy and paste of that?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 12:06pm #258629

IndianaBasketballParticipantAt 4:21 you asked FastDan if Cleveland had any exceptions… LOL… If you didn’t know whether or not they had any exceptions, how could you have been talking about them using exceptions to sign a player at the start of this? You didn’t even know if they had any or not……….

quinceyhodgesand yet you still ignore you being wrong about cleveland not being able to sing a good player… you just wanna sweep that under the rug huh.to busy trying to call me out to noticed that you were wrong on that front..its cool cu everyone else knows you were which takes away alot of youre sting of calling me out. see you gotta make sure you are 100percent right before you call people out or it just doesnt make you look too good:)
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 12:11pm #258635

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not sweeping anything under the rug. I said Cleveland couldn’t sign a player with the money from Shaq’s expiring contract since Cleveland was already $27 million plus over the cap. You NEVER read anything about me saying Cleveland couldn’t use an exception lol.

esperanzafleet69Participantthey WOULD have been under the cap almost 10 mil if the didnt trade illgauskus…. but now theyre lookin to break even…

really…man thats sayd that you continue to follow me like a lil puppy still..hey what time am i going to the movies?..i see you deleted youre post after youre plan failed and no one else was coming on to agree with you while you kepting giving youre self points while taking away mine( yeah i asked people and no one else was taking my points). its sad that you take away points just because someone doesnt agree with you or because you are wrong but the pathetic part is you give youre self points tezo. why cant you just let youre work speak for it self and let others give you points. even with all that imma be the bigger man and not take youre points. im sorry that youre plan of calling me out and having people agree with you didnt work. hopefully you will learn from youre mistake ill will now put this to rest like always and move on while you continue to follow me

IndianaBasketballParticipantQuincey… It’s over. You lost. I deleted the post because I felt bad for you… Fastdan made a great point. Bickering isn’t what this website is for.
I never said Cleveland couldn’t use exceptions to go over the cap. That’s not technically having money or being under the cap though. Cleveland won’t be under the cap even with Shaq’s contract coming off the books, which is what YOU thought. That’s the point I was trying to explain to you… That Cleveland can’t use the money from Shaq’s expiring contract to sign another player, since they’re already over the cap.
Yes… They can use exceptions, BUT you didn’t even know what an exception was when this debate first started. That was my point of posting the times you made those posts… To prove that you didn’t know what an exception was, so how could you have been refering to them when you said the Cavs would be able to sign a good free-agent?
I’m not even going to get into the whole points debate with you again… People just don’t agree with you Quincey.
