This trade is a good steal for the Bucks and they get rid of a player that doesn’t work for them. Do you think they will still draft Joe Alexander? Draft a different player or trade up/down?

the bucks will not take joe alexander anymore because of the addition of rj. their starting five next year will be jefferson, michael redd, charlie villanueva, andrew bogut, and mo williams. didn’t jefferson just sign a big time contract a year or two ago?

I believe the Bucks wanted to get a solid SF and get rid of Bobby Simmons and his horrific contract. Besides, Simmons missed a huge bulk of games last season with numerous injuries. Well, they snatched Alexander at the 8th Pick and got rid of Yi Jianlian. Perhaps, the Bucks wanted to tweak and toughen up at the Small Forward position with promising players. Its a good thing they got R-Jeff, it seems that if they were desperate in rebuilding the team, they could’ve put Michael Redd, their franchise player on the trading block to get new players. Well, no need to think about it now that the highflyer R-Jeff came into town. Now they got a solid starting five and a good backup at SF with Joe Alexander.
