    Have no idea about his prospects as a D1 guy and have not heard much about JUCO Rankings, but I definitely would love to see this story end well. This kid was homeless for a few years and really turned his life around. Seems like he can definitely ball and might be at a D1 school next year. Here is another post I found on him, saying he has had interest from a number of D1’s, and that was last year:

    I had no idea his name was Brian Goins or that he was the #1 JUCO PG! I’ve played with/against) him  for years at Central Park (off Bollinger in San Ramon) and I thought/knew he was dope…thats crazy. This cat would play pickup outdoors for hours, he’s silky and will cross you, finish at the rim or bust on you from from 15-20 ft. Good for this dude.
