mikeyvthedonParticipantWhat is this "ESPN2"? In Canada, we have TSN, which is "The Sports Network". You must mean TSN2, which is clearly showing the Cubs vs. Mets, than Formula One Racing, which people would clearly rather watch than any form of basketball (to people reading this, he knows I am being sarcastic). Still, wanted to write that I am seeing this game is close (am not watching it, as I am watching football, but I checked the website), I think it is a major bummer that both Germany and Turkey were ousted from the Olympics today. Truly unfortunate, they were in a really bad drawing. Spain, France and Lithuania all will have shots at the Olympics. Seems like the other drawing, lead by Russia and Macedonia currently, would all have been hugely challenged by either Germany or Turkey, even Serbia, but I guess that is the way the cards fall.

McDunkinWhat is this Canada? Is it as real as a Oregon victory? jk
But Brazil did come close to making a miracle comeback those last few seconds.
I am very dissapointed in Tiago Splitter. I have been hearing his name and reading glowing scouting reports on him since about 2003 or 04 and thought he would be the next great bigman for the Spurs.
Luis Scola just might be an All-Star this season…I mean one season

ghrghrParticipantSplitter has been playing hurt, so you can’t really judge his play from this tournament.
But the truth is that he is best when running the pick and roll. He has just one move in the post(pushing back and then a spin followed by a hookshot), but he is fast for the center position and is very effective if the team has a good PG who is good in the pick and roll. He did have a few good games for the spurs this year, but he is not a great player.
I’m brazilian, so I’ve seen him play for a long time and he has never had good skills. His size and speed will be enough for him to be an OK player.
