dannyg219ParticipantThe New Celtics Coach
Good pick up maybe, he’s young and smart.
I think this is good be a long term pickup, After a few bad seasons, back in the playoffs by 2015- 20160 - Posted on: Thu, 07/04/2013 - 2:46am #812825

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantHUGE fan of Brad Stevens. He is representing the brads of this world very well (my names Brad). I was shocked he left but glad he is with the Celtics! I hope is stays for many many years. Ainge just needs to trade rondo, I like the rondo for trey Burke and Gordon Hayward trade that someone mentioned on this site. The future is bright and (in KG’s voice “ANYTHING IS POSSSSIBBLLLEEE!!!!!”

Meditated StatesParticipantBurke is unproven. Hayward I like but inconsistent. Rondo said he supports the rebuild and is down and excited for the challenge. He has never got to be the man. He can be. Unless a great deal is offered he will be staying put. They need a all star or guaranteed top 3 pick to deal him.

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantMy ideas were based around reuniting Hayward and Stevens but yeah, I guess rondo is just on my sh*t list for the rumors on how he conducted himself towards Ray Allen leaving him to blame for Allen jumping ship and ending the big three era in Boston.
Rondo to me can’t be the man, his jumpshot is suspect and we all know he will just shoot all the time and not stimulate the growth of the youth movement in Boston. Of course he would say he was in for the rebuilding effort he could just go out there and get his w/ no regard for bettering other players.
I agree though he is worth more than Burke and Hayward, I’d like to see getting more picks. Burke will be a solid starter in this league mark my words though. Hayward will only get better, it’d be cool to see the coach and Haywood together. Hell, sign Shelvin Mack and Andrew Smith.

SkipHippoParticipantTim Flloyd was the hottest young coach in college basketball when Krause poached him for the rebuilding Chicago Bulls. Flloyd would have had Nick Collison and Kirk Heinrich going to Iowa State and built something special. He left for the Bulls and they decommited to go to Kansas and Flloyd went to the trashbin of NBA and college coaches.

Meditated StatesParticipantRondo is fine. Better shooter from mid range than given credit for but a passer first. Hate on my friend. I like it give the kid a shot. Its a game not life and death. Wiggins life is easy with Rondo serving him up easy buckets. Am I wrong? Rondo had his highest scoring average last year and shot 48% from 16-23 feet like I said before. That made up half of his scoring. His job is to distribute to scorers. That is a PG job and to control penetration on D. He does it the best. Guess I view the PG job like Cousy and Magic ran it. Just not a scoring PG believer.
