don042488ParticipantI think the Detroit Pistons should trade Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince, and Jason Maxiell, to the Washington Wizards, for Gilbert Arenas, Al thornton, and Nick Young…This is an equal deal to me..The Pistons get a big name player, they could not only use on the court, but also help their team sell tickets, which they did badly in over the past few seasons, and the Ben Gordon provides John Wall with a sharp shooter, who is clutch with the game on the line.

PlatypusParticipantPistons depth
Arenas – Terrico White
Stuckey – Young
Rip – Daye – Thorton
Jerebko – Charilie V
Monroe – Wallace (if back) – Wilcoxdoesnt really help the Pistons, they need a big more than anything

don042488ParticipantIf you get Arenas to Detroit, Stuckey then becomes expandable…Lemme see, I would trade Stuckey and Chris Wilcox, to the Blazers, for Greg Oden…Oden is a gamble, but you never know, maybe he could turn his career around in Mo-town..Marcus Camby and Grant Hill were both fragile players at 1 time, now their iron men, so you never know

WizardofOzParticipantI don’t think the Wizards would do this trade. The Wizards are trying to get younger and they aren’t getting younger by doing this trade. They would be giving up some of their young assets with this trade in Thornton and Young. And you would think this trade would give the Wizards much cap relief because they’re giving up Gilbert, but it is not because Gordon, Prince, and Maxiell all have big contracts. The Wizards are rebuilding and are not really trying to make the playoffs next year, so they don’t need any veteran help immediately.

morgatilParticipantPistons best bet is still Tayshaun for Kaman.
I know the Clippers just got Aminu at the 3, but he is a project and he cannot hit the 3 yet. Tay gives them a mentor for 2 years who has a great expiring contract. Kaman is a Michigan guy and would love to play for the Pistons. Adding Kaman with Monroe would be a great C and PF combo.

morgatilParticipantThe Pistons should sign Haywood.
