DavenSaragihParticipantWouldn’t you say that they are similar? Antonio Pre-Injuries btw.

SubZeroParticipantGriffin kills Favors on offense

JNixonParticipantFavors plays like Chris Wilcox. People will see it. He has no motor.
Griffin is a bulldog, he’s better and more aggressive than Favors
Griffin is closer to McDyess than Favors is.

DavenSaragihParticipantFavors might end up like Wilcox… Why didn’t the Nets go for Johnson? Don’t they need a starting 3? Or where they hoping for Lebron. Favors or Cousins?

JNixonParticipantI have no idea. I wanted them to pick Greg Monroe. Lopez and Monroe could’ve been similar to Pau and Bynum.

stanford hoopsFavors isn’t like the other two because he’s not even close to being as aggressive

TRC1991ParticipantWe haven’t seen 2 out of the 3 play professionally…i dont think its fair to compare anyone right now
but if i were to do so, i would say blake griffin has more of a motor than favors and is a better overall basketball player

SteroidParticipantFavors is supposed to be an athletic freak, which I’m sure he is, but so far in the summer league, I haven’t even seen flashes of that. That athleticism that sets you apart from all the other “athletic” guys in the NBA. He just isn’t aggressive. I’m sure there is more to him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up just another guy in the NBA..

BDNETSParticipantThe Kid is STILL 18 years old. One year removed from National High School Player of the Year. And I’m sure they weren’t all dunks. Before I see him Jacking up 3’s and becoming a black hole on offense I would rather see him learn to Defend and Rebound at an NBA level. Drafts are about POTENTIAL. Very few players dominate from summerleague game 1. How about we have some fun watching him grow into a player.
The Favors comparisons I hear most are Dwight Howard and Amare at the SAME age. Amare just found a jumper after his knees went and Howard is still trying to find his.

scoutguruParticipantWith Favors, I said it since day 1, he’ll just be one of the many overdrafted role player. He’ll be solid though, nothing spectacular. Just watching him in college, i never saw any nastiness to him, or high level of skill, or feel for the game. Blake is on another level, even if we’ve seen none of them play professionally yet. Blake should be a stud! Even if Blake came out after his freshman year, i’d still take black without a doubt over Favors.
