Who is gonna be this years biggest steal in fantasy basketball in regards to where they are selected and how well they perform? This year has alot of candidates.

    My pick is Enes Kanter.

I’d be interested to know who it was last year – Darren Collison must have been up there averaging 12.4ppg-5.3apg-2.6rpg on 49%fg-46%3pt and only turning it over 1.2 times a game.

This year I’m going with: Jonathan Isaac – I think we will see him contribute across the board, minus the 3pt% for now.

I think biggest steal last year had to be Donovan Mitchell most people got him off waiver wire

I’ll go with Jamal Murray. He’ll probably be the 12th or 13th PG taken in most fantasy drafts, but he’s going to put up a lot of big scoring nights. If you miss out on an elite PG in an early round, you can probably make up for it later by taking Murray.

He would have been one of my sleepers until they signed IT. I’m sure IT will be 6th man but he should get some decent minutes, and if he can get back into the form he was just 2 seasons ago he may even overtake Murray on some nights.

If IT didn’t have that lingering hip injury, you’d have a point. However, a medical expert just went on record yesterday saying it could be a long-term issue. (Source: https://www.upi.com/Isaiah-Thomas-Hip-surgeon-says-Nuggets-guard-could-have-lingering-issues/9901532275214/). I think it’s fair to bet IT isn’t ever going to regain his form from Boston. Even if he does play decent minutes, I can’t see it being a deterrent to Murray.

Yeah Jamaal Murray is defenitely a candidate to breakout but I wouldnt bet against IT. With his hip injury I wouldnt bet on him either but his presence would defenitely make me more think twice about picking Murray early especially with Harris and Barton also locked in. Stay away from both and find a sure thing.

With that being said this would make Murray a good candidate to be even more of a steal as people will likely stay away from him.

Isaac as mentioned is a good one. John Collins might just average 20 and 10 honestly with that Hawks team. Jordan Bell has that starting spot on lock with Zaza and Mcgee gone from stealing minutes from him. I see Bogdan Bogdanovic too as a sleeper since he will be given thekeys to the offense, and he will be a steady source of threes, points and assists.

Hezonja and Knox. Both could be in line for huge minutes in NY. Kevin Love as well could make a comeback.
