Who would you say is the better passer, Jason Williams or Steve Nash?

It’s tough, but after this video, I’ll take Jason Williams just cuz of his creativeness

Don’t know how to embed a video lol

Jason Williams is the more talented passer, you dont get Pistol Pete comparison for nothing, but on the negative side his style can be sloppy and out of control often (atleast in his early years), but Nash plays under control, he also has a much better court vision.

I agree with mess.ee, what sets Nash apart though is the other aspects of his game.

I didn’t mean as a player, I just meant passing-wise. For a team I’d pick Steve Nash, no doubt

jason williams can do some amazing things with the basketball..but it doesnt bode well in a game that has a team setting or set plays…it can drive coaches crazy….

you put him in an all star game he’ll be the mvp..he displayed those dazzling passing skills at times when he was with the kings..

Come on man youve gotta be kidding. If we are talking in an NBA game who do you believe is a better facilatator of the ball, who has better court vision and who is the better passer it’s Steve Nash hands down. If we are talking streetball then of course J-Will is the better passer, but as far as the NBA (the big show) goes Williams doesn’t have a chance.

Williams has an 8.3 apg average as his highest ever in a Season..He was spectacular and dazzling but not nearly as effecient as you may think.

Im sorry bro, but that pass from Nash is weaksauce compare to White Chocolate’s elbow pass. He used his elbow pass on a fast break! How insane is that, who does that in an NBA game? Seriously how many times have we seen no look passes, and how many times have we seen elbow passes?

No look passes = seen it millions of times before

    elbow passes = once

Over the entirety of their careers i’d say steve nash because j-will lost his “white chocolate” label once he left the kings and nash has always been a great passer and when he got to phoenix it became even more evident. Also i think you can take into consideration who’s had more success and that would have to be nash especially with all the playoff appearances and the back to back MVP awards

I didn’t say it was hard to do, but who would have the balls to even try it in an NBA game tho? U gotta be sure you can pull it off before you even think of making that kind of pass.

Ill say steve nash is a better passer because he’s actually known to make guys better and put them in the correct position to score. J-will is flashier but steve nash is more efficient is all Im sayin

No I don’t think Nash is product of the system although it helps that he plays in a run and gun offense, in Dallas he also played in a run and gun with Don Nelson so its not the system thats making him better. Its like saying Tom Brady is a system QB, Brady was an average QB in college and then became Montana in the NFL.

Since when is the Rookie/Sophomore challenge considered an NBA game?

I was impressed, but Nash is the better passer and I don’t think it’s close.

Jason Willias was just so fun to watch, he may have been one of the most entertaining players ever. I want to see another one like him so bad. I love the dunk but you gotta love these kinds of assists even more

Williams + Webber = Where amazing happens
Yeah that’s a stolen quote, so what?
