ChicagoCaseyParticipantI’ve seen an argument on youtube about who’s the best shooting guard in the league this season and It was mostly talked about Wade vs. Beal. I believe the best shooting guard without a doubt so far in the NBA have been Bradley Beal. He’s been the most clutch player in the NBA so far this season and he have the best numbers of all the shooting guards this year by averaging 25 points 4 rebounds and 2 assist with shooting 45% from the field and from downtown.
I’m obviously a Miami Heat fan and a huge Dwyane Wade fan, but I can’t say he’s having a better season than Bradley Beal when Beal basically domintated Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Khris Middleton, and Victor Oladipo. While Wade struggled against the Hawks (don’t mind the statline), played great against Wiggins, played great against the Hornets, and the likes of JR Smith. Beal had played against more top notch defenders and domintated all of them.
And to all that will try to mix my words up, I’m saying that as of today Bradley Beal is having the best season of any shooting guards, not that I would take him over the likes of James Harden. But, at the end of the season I believe Bradley Beal will be recognized that Beal is the second best shooting guard in the league.
FYI: I can’t believe by this time last year people were having a conversation about who’s better between Dion Waiters and Bradley Beal. I just laugh now to the people that was telling me that Waiters were better than Beal and will become the better players.

ZouldiersParticipantGot to go with Beal as well. He’s been playing like a beast lately especially that last game against the Spurs where he hit that shot over Aldridge to put the game away. Like yourself, I’m also a huge D-Wade fan and Heat fan and I think Wade has been playing well lately with above 20 points the first 5 games. As of now I say Beal, Wade then in no particular order Harden, Oladipo, and McCollum but this could change towards the end of the season.

KingslayerParticipantBeal has been excellent as a scorer so far this season. He looks to be heading towards a career high in usage and is scoring efficiently so far, which is new for him. I’d throw Demar Derozan and CJ McCollum into the mix with Beal and those mentioned so far among SG’s that have been the most impressive to start the season. They’re not scoring at the same clip, but they have been effective as scorers & playmakers on offense so far.
However I believe the best SG so far this season has without-a-doubt been Jimmy Butler. He’s been playing a winning brand of basketball – highly efficient scorer, mistake free (0.5 TO’s per game!), and his usual stellar defense. The work this guy puts in each year to improve his game is phenomenal.

BogDon_KryptParticipantI’d put Nik Staustkas in there with the best of them. The Kings are going to seriously regret giving up on this guy.

JordoParticipantOnly 4 games in but Beal has definitely kept that playoff fire he had last year. He really wants it this year. Maybe it’s the contract plus some ole Paul Pierce influence but he’s def a guy to watch this year for sure.

True_JafiParticipantDemar DeRozan is a strong candidate as well but Beal got the slight edge on him so far

OhCanada-ParticipantDemars shooting percentages are low but anyone who has watched knows he’s been winning basketball games and closing down the stretch

frogmanParticipantDid you just look at stats? Klay Thompson doesn’t have the greatest per game stats because the Warriors are usually up by 87 points entering the 2nd half so he doesn’t play that much.

river09ParticipantWiggins has been so inefficient he shouldn’t be on this list, I believe he’s shooting under 30% from the field.

OhCanada-ParticipantEvan Fournier needs to be on that list. He may start at SF but he does play lots of SG and he is more of a wing then a traditional SF.
Weird stats at the half Derozan is 0-2 shooting only took two shots and Fournier is 1-8.

PulseGlazerParticipantDid this dude really have Klay at 10?
And I’m going to chime in that this is silly. In a couple weeks it will be Harden.

Arc12345ParticipantWe all know Harden and Klay are an easy 1-2. I will give you Beal at 3 if you want. He has been great. Also Butler has been great as well. I might throw Demar in the conversation, but his consistentcy with his shot worries me. He might be the most athletically gifted. Oladipo also seems to have taken the next step. Obviously it goes without saying Wade is top 3 if he’s healthy.
But after those 6-7 guys, there’s a clear drop off in eliteness. In my opinion.

ZachAttackParticipantHe said top SG’s so far. That means. Who’s been playing the best right now. Which is obviously Brad Beal, then Demar Derozan. Just my input
