Well, im basically asking for the best player, that doesnt get recognition for how good he is..

Mine is Gerald Wallace, hes a super hustler, does all the little things, he blocks shots, drives to the basket harder than ANYONE in the league, hes fearless, an underrate perimeter defender, i think once the Bobcats make the playoffs, he’ll start to get the recognition he deserves…

Mine is D-Will, he’s the best PG in the league in my opinion everybody says Chris Paul is better, but when they play head to head D-Will always dominates. D-Will makes his teammeates better, Paul Millsap wouldn’t be as good as he is if it wasn’t for D-Will.

He didn’t have as good a last season as the one before, but your right, he dominates CP3 when they go head to head.

First off D-will and wade are stars so don’t say them. Mine is Jeff Green. Dude’s got mad skills for his size. Better shooter than Durant but isn’ t as athletic.

mine is billups. He’s been to 7 straight conference finals and he’s usually not even in the discussion for top 5 pg in the nba.

a little inconsistent at times, but a great athlete, rebounder, shot blocker, and he’s still young and getting better

I know D-Will is a star, but he doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves. It’s always about Chris Paul.

Wade doesnt count, D-Will doesnt count, they get all-star appearances, played in the olympics, there definetly stars…Wade a superstar..

Billups doesnt count either, hes really good, doesnt get all the credit, but hes definetly top 5 PG in the league

Ben Gordon because he put up 20 points every season, but never gets credited for being the star of his team or even considered to be an All-Star

Jeff Green shoots a better percentage than KD I believe… But I still KNOW KD is the better shooter… Any player that been to an All-Star game DOESN’T count. But I would Probably say JR Smith… I understand he can be a head case but dude is explosive, with range, can pass, and TRIES to play D… Which you can’t say about alot of stars… Dude is very UNDERRATED… I’ll pay him 50 million before Ben Gordon… Just imagine if the Hornets or the Bulls kept him? LOL… Stupid…

Wrong!!! Danny Granger, Al Jefferson woulda been if he didn’t get injured, and Joe Johnson been there more than once… But I agree with everyone else, but Al Harrington (what!!!), Derek Fisher (love him but what?), Troy Murphy (hahahaha)… I think he mean players that are really stars or potential to be stars but don’t get any love… Not vets or role players…

Correct answers are Mo Williams, Jameer Nelson, Allen Iverson, Antawn Jamison, Kendrick Perkins and of course Lebron James because he isn’t yet labeled as the son of God.

and probably underrated but he showed he is not a star in the playoffs this year. When the bigs got hurt, he had to pick up the slack and he just couldn’t create for himself or others. He looked really bad and I think proved he is not a no.1 option on a top team.

Fisher woah being clutch with a couple late game shots doesn’t make you a star.
    Caron Butler, David Lee, Calderon.

A superstar/star would be the type of player who not only exhibits unworldly skills on the court, but also that charisma and character outside the NBA drawing the world as their audience and fan base. A superstar/star would be a player that fans can recognize without being fans of the NBA or basketball. Superstars/stars are players such as LeBron, Kobe, Shaq, AI, Wade, etc.

In that case, I’d like to go with Joe Johnson and Chauncey Billups. I can also argue for a Caron Butler at the point when the WIZARDS are successful (not when they are a lottery team).

You can also make a case on which player get’s the most endorsements; commericial’s, sponsorships, etc. Players like Kobe, Lebron, Dwight, D-wade are in elite company because of their play during the Olympics. It also helps when they’re getting all this T.V. time off the court and having their name’s thrown around in all types of media outlets across the globe.

Look for the next generation (Durant, D-Rose, Mayo, B-Roy, ie) to start getting their name’s talked about in the superstar discussion.

He should’ve made it in as a Clipper or in his lone season with the Heat where he averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assist per game.

His game is efficient when he’s on point (shoots a high percentage, dishes out dimes, and gets his share of blocks) that’s why he’s labeled the goods. It’s a shame he hasn’t been named to an All Star to date. He’ll never get it in the West with established All Star’s like Dirk, and Melo.

Can’t also forget when he was on the Olympic team in 2004 he was the main player putting in work! Larry Brown has since been enamored with Lamar since!

You’re crazy if you think Joe Johnson is not a no. 1 option on a top team. Hawks had a very good team and he is the BIGGEST reason why,

I’d have to say kevin martin. on a bad ankle last year he averaged about 25 ppg. his defense was TERRIBLE, but that can partially be credited to the injury, and dudes just down-right HARD to stop on offense. went for 50 against the warriors a few months ago.
