The8thDeadlySinParticipantThis year, what conference will be the best in the nation? Who will send the most teams to the Tourney? What conference will send the most players to the NBA?
IMO, it will be the Big East or the ACC. I think ACC will send the most to the NBA and the Big East will send the most to the tourney. Big East and ACC will both be great conferences this year for college basketball.

JoeWolf1Big 12. like mentioned before Kansas and Texas are elite teams and the following teams are all possibilities for NCAA tourney births
Oklahoma- potential all-american Willie Warren and incoming freshman Tiny Gallon and company will win at least 25 games this year
Oklahoma State – James Anderson will lead a young and up and coming OSU team, Travis Ford is a good young coach on the rise as well
Kansas State- Wally Judge, Jake Pullen, and Clemente will lead a solid K-State team that is capable of a NCAA first round upset
Missouri – Mike Anderson loses Leo Lyons and DeMarre Carroll, but his coaching ability and a solid freshman class will have them in the 20 win range and a possible tourney birth
Texas A&M- coach Mark Turgeon, brings back his top 3 scorers from last year’s 24 win team and adds a solid recruiting classThat is potentially 7 teams in the mix for a tourney birth and I didn’t even include Baylor which could potentially be there too, but they are in a slight rebuilding mode this year after the loss of Jerrells, but they have a pretty good class of freshman coming in too,

JNixonParticipantBig 12….we should have at least 7 teams in the tourny with Baylor and possibly Mizzou sneaking in (yes, Mizzou. They are bringing in lots of guys that can play Coach Anderson’s system effectively).

RickyRubio9ParticipantBig 12 was a beast last year and I expect them to be tops this year. I say Texas, Kansas, Texas A&M, K-State, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Baylor all have chances to get in.
Players leaving, some might not. Damion James, Jordan Hamilton, Sherron Collins, Willie Warren, Cole Aldrich, and I’m sure there are more. I am a big UT fan, but Willie Warren is a player I really like.0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/21/2009 - 4:21pm #214690
