Arizona, Duke, UConn, and UNC would be my final four, primarily because of the completeness of the starting lineups.
Duke and UConn in the championship because of the talent off the bench. Duke would be very good defensively, but UConn has so many dead eye shooters. looks like the new pistons. My pick is UConn.

Team UCONN is loaded! If you break down the rosters by where the players were drafted, UCONN would have a team of first rounders, with 9 of the 10 players being lottery picks. The only other teams that can match up with them in Zona, Carolina, and Duke. Another thing, instead of doing just active players, do a roster of players who played there within the last 20 years. The list of schools would be bigger to include schools like Syracuse, Georgetown, Michigan, Michigan St., Indiana, and possibly Louisville. Other than that, good post

    F-Thaddeus Young
    F-Anthony Morrow
    C-Chris Bosh
    G-Stephon Marbury
    G-Jarrett Jack
bench-Matt Harpring, Javaris Crittenton, Will Bynum

Team Georgia Tech is slept on. And dont forget about Morrow off the pine! But the Final 4 would be Georgia Tech, Team Arizona (led by Iguodala..lol), Team UNC, and Team UConn. They all have good starting 5’s and plenty of depth.

Hmm… Quite interesting. Come to think of it, I don’t recall any LSU guard being successful. That team would just get demolished by any other team though. Maybe stick Tasmin Mitchel in there?

I kinda meant guards who’ve done well on the NBA level.

Yea, lol. Spencer made their lineup with all 4’s and 5’s. They are frontcourt heavy in terms of the quality NBA level players they produce. Thornton is the only NBA level player they have in the backcourt.

    Anthony Randolph
    Glen Big Baby Davis
    Shaq

now that is a bomb squad

i was just answering the other guys question about past LSU gaurds. And yes, I started this just as current nba players only. I did forget to add Georgia Tech, but I don’t think they would be top 5 on this list with that weak bench.

Uconn and UNC are in a class above the rest… Zona is up there, but they don’t have a legit big man. Channing Frye and Jordan Hill is a sad combo… if Arizona could trade one of their MANY guards for a big, than maybe

Antawn-Rasheed is the best big combo out there so I’ll go UNC

yeah chris jackson would have to replace randolph easily..he was a monster in college..alot of teams are missing some of there best players im not sure if its because llperez for got or because hes young…you have kansas which should have wilt..kentucky should have mashburn and toney delk. ucla’s whole starting 5 would probably be changed. deng starting over grant hill???..and d.jones is even on the team? and uconn ..khalid elamin?…other then that stuff you did a pretty good job

quincey, I thought it was pretty obvious by my lists that these are strcitly current nba players. Plus, as for the starting 5’s, it is based on how they are performing today and not necesaarily how their whole career has gone.

so it doesnt include what they did in college just what they did in the nba?..i would have said it was obvious but there was no explination..just list of players who played at there respective college 3 other people mentioned chris jackson and pistol pete

Maybe I should have explained it in the original post. But everyone on those lists are current nba players. If we were going by all time players, then this list would be one of the worst things ever posted on this site.
