Lotto StudParticipantWith Beal locked in at #3 to the Wizards and a potential trade between the Kings/Rockets #5 Drummond Warriors/Bulls #7 this will leave either Barnes or MKG to fall potentially in the 6-8 range of the draft. Who and where will they go will be the biggest question that needs to be answered before draft day.

Lotto StudParticipantWhoever does not go to Cleveland will be the one to slide.

TyroberParticipantI think Beal’s floor is 3. The Bobcats and Cavs might be swapping picks and the only reason to do that is to select Beal and it really looks like that could help both teams so thats definitely something to keep an eye on.

bloodshyParticipantUnless you consider being picked at 7 a "slide." That is the absolute floor for either player. The more likely scenario is that both are off the board by 5.
Both looked good at the combine and neither has looked bad in a workout. Barnes was outdueled (per reports) by Beal in his Cleveland workout, but nothing suggested he looked bad. Too many teams are in need of a 3 right now and these two are the premier 3s this draft has to offer. There’s no way either falls past GS at 7.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m speaking as if T-Rob is the #2 overall pick

Brew Meister SmithParticipantIt’s a pretty bold statement so I’ll give you points for that. I’d love to see either one left for the Raps at 8. And you never know what will happen with the trades.
BUT I really don’t see either of them falling past 6 – maybe 7 for Gilchrist. But even that may be a stretch.

joecheck88ParticipantYes, if everything stays the same and nobody makes a trade, I have MKG going 7 to GS. Davis, Robinson, Beal, Barnes, Lillard, Drummond, then MKG

Lotto StudParticipantWould Toronto really take MKG?

MakarosParticipantNeither gets past Sacramento, granted that they keep their pick.
The way I see it, MKG will be the one to fall.
If the supposed trade between Charlotte and Cleveland takes place, you can bet that Beal goes 2, Barnes goes 3 and then Robinson goes 4. That leaves MKG "slipping" to 5

Brew Meister SmithParticipantYes, Toronto would take MKG. It would be an easy pick at 8. Plus they need a 3 more than any other position. But unfortunately he will not be there.

Lotto StudParticipantYou have to keep in mind Houston will trade with Sacramento

Brew Meister SmithParticipantCan’t BOOK IT if it hasn’t happened yet.
