Big time scouting opportunity, two of the top prospects in the country regardless of grade playing now on ESPN2. Should be really interesting.

Knight is a good shooter and he can create offense. He does have to finish better. He has to take some tough shots because his team isn’t very good.

Rivers is a decent slasher and is repeatedly beating Knight off the dribble. He’s very quick. He’s a deadly shooter though too. He just has to get stronger.

that game was hella exciting, i loved watching thjat…2 amazing guards going for 40+, i love both of them as prospects, personally i like Rivers better, but there both amazing and future NBA stars

Knight at times seemed like a chucker, and i know in HS thats basically what hes suppose to do, considering hes by far the most talented kid in his high school

Its really hard to evaluate guards, especially point guards in HS because they’re being told to score, who knows….maybe in the NBA they’ll be 15 assist per game guys lol

But nonetheless, both amazing players, in an amazing game….i should of DVR’d it, thats a game I can watch over and over again

Yea that was something to see. Both of them are elite because they both showed they can score at an elite level against each other, and if they are even remotely good PG’s (which I think they are), they should dominate the college game as soon as they hit the floor. I think they both just did what their coaches told them to do, to give them the best chance of winning. But Knight’s teammates weren’t good enough for them to win.

i personally like knight better he showed glimpses of his passing ability but his teammates could not convert them in particular a bounce pass in the second quarter i believe on a fast break he threaded the neadle from half court to his big man but he missed the layup

I think Knight will be better when surrounded with more talent.

dont forget also that Brandon knight was amazing on his junior year, he was named Gatorade player of the year when he average 31.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists. Don’t be surprise if knight average around 40 points on his senior year. Everybody looks at his scoring, but his defense and lateral movement are just as good. The kid isn’t all offense, he’s a lockdown defender too.
