valentineThere was alot of talk before the season about how barnes will dominate, Irving will dominate,Melo will dominate as a defender,Leslie will do work. So far some freshmen have played very well, others have played ok, And some have just looked average at best( .5 and above is rounded up)
C.J Leslie-10ppg 44% 5reb 2blk 1ast
Kyrie Irving-15ppg 49%fg 6ast 4reb 1st 1blk- On the top team in the country
Tobias Harris-17ppg 53%fg 6reb 1stl
Brandon Knight-17 45%fg 3ast 4reb 1blk 1stl
Fab Melo-2ppg 54% 3reb 1blk
Terrence Jones-21ppg 51% 11reb 3blk 2stl
Harrison Barnes-11ppg 34% 2ast 6reb 1blk
Tristan Thompson 12ppg 51% 7reb 2ast 3blk 1stl
Jared Sullinger-15ppg 58%fg 9reb 1blk 1stl on the number three ranked team int he country
Perry Jones-13ppg 50% 9reb 2ast 2blk 1stl
Personal C.J is doing about what i thought he would with his raw ability
Kyrie is better then i thought and even though knight is scoring more Kyrie IMO so far is clearly the better point guard
I never though Fab would do a whole lot but he’s actually doing worst then i even thought he would
Jones is playing better then i thought he would even though i knew he was talented and figured he would put up a good 15 and 8
Tristan is basically doing what i figured he would.
Sullinger,Tobias,Perry are doing about what i figured they would although i expected more rebounds from Tobias and figured Perry would put up similar numbers as Derrick Favors did last year
Barnes hasnt done what i figured he would and thats just from watching the games and not taking stats nto account

Im Your FatherParticipantC.J Leslie- Has done about what I expected.
Kyrie Irving-He has also done about what I expected, but I think being a Duke fan I had higher expectations than most.
Tobias Harris- Didn’t see him play at all in high school, so I didn’t know what to expect.
Brandon Knight- He is actually doing better than I expected. He has had some struggles, but I thought he would have more.
Fab Melo- He is obviously doing far worse than I expected. I thought he would be good for maybe 10, 7 and 2.
Terrence Jones- He is doing far better than I expected, I thought he’d probably averaged around 13-14 ppg. I never thought he would challenge Barnes at all.
Harrison Barnes- He is definitely doing worse than I thought he would and I love it. I thought he’d be a an 18 and 5 guy.
Tristan Thompson- He’s doing a little better than I thought he would.
Jared Sullinger- He is dominating exactly like I thought he would. Kid is a baller.
Perry Jones- I guess this was about what I expected from him.

JNixonParticipantC.J Leslie- Has done about what I expected. Not a big fan of his really, but he’s doing what I thought. He’s been outplayed by Harrow and Brown thus far in terms of impact on games.
Kyrie Irving-He has done what I expected. He’s got skills man. He has a chance to be the best PG in the country by seasons end.
Tobias Harris- Exactly what I thought so far.
Brandon Knight- Less of a PG than I thought. His scoring is around what I thought, but not his assists.
Fab Melo- He is obviously WAY worse than I expected. I thought he’d be 10, 9 and 2 bpg.
Terrence Jones- Has padded his stats a bit so far and I expect a decline, but he’s more productive than I thought he’d be.
Harrison Barnes- I expected his impact to be similar to what Luol Deng did as a Fr. Underachieving so far, but I think he’ll improve as the year goes on.
Tristan Thompson- Doing what I thought so far.
Jared Sullinger- Doing about what I thought. I thought he’d be productive and saw him challenging for BIg 10 POY.
Perry Jones- I thought he’d be rebounding at a lower rate, but everything else is about what I thought.

scoutguruParticipantI give you that Iggy. You’ve been mentioning the Luol Deng comparisons for a while now. And thats kinda the type of player I see him projecting as at the next level. A nice smooth, not to overly athletic wing, who could start in the league and knock down mid-range jumpers and admirably defend his position.
Anyway, in regard to this list…I’ll be able to give you a better gage next month. What about a Cory Joseph expectation? Some ppl (this website included) had him top 15-20 pick preseason…
