paradigmnParticipantI just posted my NCAA pre-season TOP 10 Freshmen Small Forwards….and it was removed.
Yesterday, I posted my NCAA pre-season TOP 10 Freshmen Shooting Guards…it was removed.
Two days ago I posted NCAA pre-season TOP 10 Freshmen Point Guards…and it WASNT removed???
I don’t understand….this is a basketball chat fourm is it not???
I don’t think anyone will look at my STUPID site and say to themselves…"Wow…now that I know this exists…I am never going back to NBA draft.net"
I am NOT competition…you got this game on lock down….like I said yesterday, I have had people e-mail me to thank me for turning them onto your site. In almost every post I make I have numerous links that goes to NBA draft.net..so…whats the problem with my posts???
Why are they being removed???
You prob won’t respond to this…..so….I guess I will continue to make good posts and just cross my fingers that they don’t get removed.

omphalosParticipantI’m not sure why you’re having this problem paradigmn, I’ve posted links to my blog here as well with no troubles. If you want to share your content though, you’re probably just better off copy and pasting the full article to the forum with a link down the bottom.
I was about to comment on your SF list only to find it was just gone. Bit of a bummer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantPeople have gotten banned in the past for promoting their own site on Aran’s territory, regardless of if it was stupid or not. I guess it’s just the principle to Aran lol.

Aran SmithKeymasterHey paradigmn. You could always send an email to discuss this type of thing. We do have a blanket rule – no links to other draft related sites. It has been the rule for a long time. We sometimes let it slide, but when people link to their site too often, posts do get deleted. It’s nothing personal. As long as you don’t post a link to your site too often, I don’t see a problem with it….. If you want to discuss this further, send me an email.

paradigmnParticipantOk…thanx…sorry for not being more private about it….my bad…I appreciate you responding to this post regardless of my indiscretion.
As you may have noticed…I am very passionate about basketball. By NO means am I trying to attract people to my site. I just have allot to say…plus I want to add pictures and videos to what I have to say…and…I found it easier to make a site to do so instead of a regular post.
I try to post regular topics without my site…but…for indepth stuff…it’s just easier to post through this. I normally just post middle school and high school information. Since many people have not seen incoming College Freshmen play however…I wanted to try and add some of that material as well.
The BREAD and BUTTER of your site is NBA DRAFT…and…I have been very conscious as to not post any of my opinions about that through this site.
Bottom Line…YOU ARE THE MAN…lol…I am not trying to take away from anything you have created…on the contrary….I want to ADD to it.
All I ask is for you to have an open mind and to realize that what I have created does not hurt your business. Like I said, I have had a number of people E-mail me to thank me for turning them onto your site through some of my articles.
I think I speak for everyone at this site when I say you have done a FABULOUS job with NBA Draft.Net and no matter what new basketball site pops up or what the "average" Joe has to say about basketball….people will always value your opinion more (and rightfully so) because you have clearly shown you know what you are talking about. As long as you continue to do that…and…allow an open fourm to discuss basketball as well as other topics….NBA Draft.Net will continue to thrive.
Once again, Thank you for allowing me to post some of my opinions through my blog and I hope you will continue to do so, because I believe my posts will only add to what is already the best basketball site on the web…NBA Draft.net!!!

WizardofOzParticipantOne of my post got deleted too, but I didn’t link it to another draft website. I just linked it to a video giving advice on how to prevent injuries and the method the guy had. What’s up with that Aran?
