    Here’s what it looks like:

    Thomas Robinson, Kansas

    Anthony Davis, Kentucky

    Jared Sullinger, Ohio State

    Draymond Green, Michigan State

    Doug McDermott, Creighton

Now obviously all these players are very deserving, but do you notice something familiar with these players? They’re ALL power forwards. I think it would make more sense if it were to be one player postion, and here’s how mine would look.

    PG-Isaiah Canaan, Murray State

    SG-Marcus Denmon, Missouri

    SF-Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kentucky

    PF-Thomas Robinson, Kansas

    C-Tyler Zeller, North Carolina

Do you guys agree with the current formating of letting the top five players in, or do you believe that it should be the top player from each position? Who are your All-Americans?

I agree with the current formatting for a simple reason.  There are some years that there are not many good players at a certain position.  I mean, just last year, who would have been the AP All-American at the small forward positon?

Harrison Barnes and UNC were hot/cold.

Derrick Williams and Kawhi Leonard were power forwards.

Marcus Morris is questionably a SF.

I mean, can you look me in the eye and say Chris Singleton or Jimmy Butler are AP All-American 1st team without laughing?

Yeah, all of them are bigs, I don’t mind if you have 3 F-Cs, but you gotta have at least a guard or two, but it’s not that big of a deal since all 5 of those guys deserve it.

the best players or the players that had the most roll in their teams success should be picked….so give me the current format regardless of position.

I dont have much of a problem with it by position either though….except for the fact that it will take away from some people’s accomplishments…..like how you omitted Green, McDermott, Davis and Sullinger.   Davis and Green being left out is borderline criminal.

actually if you want to be technical about it sullinger and davis both play center for their team. Green Robinson and McDermott however play the 4. I get what you are saying though.

By your format my AP teams

    1st team
    C Davis
    F Robinson
    F Green
    G Denmon
    G Canaan

    2nd Team
    C Sullinger
    F McDermott
    F Crowder
    G Johnson Odom
    G Marshall

Why should we force players on the team instead of just taking the best 5 players?  I just hope Jared SUllinger takes a ref with him whenever he goes to get his all american award…….sorry I’m still pissed about Saturday
