QHaynes20Didnt Fedor lose recently?

llperezFedor is 30-1, and his one loss was like 6 years ago and it was a fluke. He was cut like 30 seconds into the fight and the doctors stopped it. He later rematched the guy, and absolutley destroyed him. SO basically he is unbeaten. With that said, I think Brock could beat him.
And to Orange Juice Jones, if you are interested in mma chatting, you should check out sherdog.com. Anyways, good to see a new fan of the sprt have some faith in Tito. Hopefully he comes back stronger then ever. And while I agree BJ is a favorite over Sanchez, I think Sanchez can definitely beat him. Sanchez has excellent wrestling and much improved stand up. I’m really looking forward to that fight.

GoodbyeChandlerParticipantbut im a huge fan of rashad evans. personally i think fighting sports like boxing and mma have too much holding. and i hate in mma where the ko’s when one dude just gets another on the floor and just snuffs him till the ref calls it a match. but i remember one time when he was fighting sean salmons and he ko’d him with a kick to the side of his neck. and when sean fell, he collapsed. my mom thought he died. that was when i became a fan.

llperezrashad evans has two of the most brutal KO’s I’ve ever seen. The head kick on Salmons and his right hook on Chuck Liddell. Plus he does all his showboating and grabbing his crotch during his fights which is always fun to watch when a guy talks trash while he’s out there.
For newer fans, a couple guys that you should check out because they always put on shows are Urijah Faber, Tyson Griffin, Mike Swick, and Jon Jones.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantMMA and UFC is a hot sport. It might be the second most watched sport besides football.

llperezthat’s because mma is fun as hell to watch. It has way more name fighters and personalities then boxing. Plus, every fighter has a unique style and you get to see a battle of different styles clash in the cage. There are more flash knockouts and crazy submissions then ever.
The guys are committed athletes and the sport is growing. Gone are the days of two random guys from off the streets with no real skills. There’s nothing like seeing two dudes who have been destroying people left and right step into the cage together and be like ‘yeah what, let’s do this’.
Get some boys together and get some drinks. It is a lot of fun. And unlike in boxing, you really get 3 hours worth of entertainment, not just one main event and a bunch of nobodies that no one knows about. The UFC does a great job of marketing all their fighters.

llperezthere are lot of mma fans that give Brock crap because he is from wwe and he got an immedaite title shot due to his marketability. But I’m not one of those people. Brock is amazing. I don’t see anyone beating him for a while. Fedor needs to get his a.ss in the UFC so we could see what’s up between those two.
you got any favorite fighters NBATalk?

llperezI like Diaz and Brock. I respect Silva as the most talented fighter in the world, but I don’t like him. Machida is a very intriguing fighter as well, although he beat my boy Tito Ortiz, so I can’t like him.
Tito, GSP, Urijah Faber, Tyson Griffin, Diego Sanchez, Nate Marquardt, Dan Henderson, and Shogun are my favorites.

llperezyep, he always reppin Stockton. I used to live near there in Sac. Nick and his brother Nate are both bad dudes. I love their mentality, they will fight any one any where. They are always cursing and talking trash, those guys are crazy. If they just laid off the weed a little more

NBATalk20098Participantllperez22 what u think
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 7:30pm #210106
llperezno. Diaz has looked unbelieavable his last couple fights against Shamrock and Scott Smith. So I think Diaz can definitely hang with anyone at middleweight. But Nate is just on another level right now. He has as good a chance as anybody to beat Andersen Silva. He is too strong for Nick. But with the way Nick has looked recently, I think it could be a very interesting fight, but I’ll take Nate. Nate is one of the best fighters in the world who doesn’t get enough exposure.
