Taking patterson in the draft when they have jordan hill providing depth for Scola, depeding if he gets re-signed, when i thought they would take a center to help takes some of the minutes from Yao. I didn’t think they would be making a big moves in FA but do you think they are setting up for a sign and trade potentially around maybe Scola with some of the other pieces they have or have been collecting through trades?

Maybe they like Patterson more than Hill, and maybe Toronto likes Hill more than Patterson.

I think their still flirting with the idea of a sign and trade and somehow bringing in Chris Bosh. Bosh and Yao (If at 100%) make for the best front court.

The best not really both are soft players, though it would be nice to see.

Bosh is solid on D and doesn’t get bullied by the more physical pllayers in the league. Yao is soft but he is so tall that it doesn’t matter, he is also solid on D because like i said he is huge. Better combination’s can be made but this would be damn good.

ya, i live in houston and there has been alot of talk about trying to get chris bosh in a sign and trade. problem is houston wasnt one of the teams on boshs list. i think if houston got bosh or stoudemire it would be huge considering the reports that yao is very close to 100 percent. i think houston could sign and trade scola with jermaine taylor ny first round picks from mcgrady trade to phoenix for stoudemire. but i think the chances of houston getting a player of that caliber will be tough and most likely scola will start with patterson backing him up and jordan hill backing up yao
