NickWayne87ParticipantJabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins in last years draft………if he were in that draft his status as number one might end up undisputed this year not so much. Plus Anthony Bennett had a shot at number one because the better prospects played the same positions as some of their established players. The cavs obviously must didn’t believe in Otto Porter’s game enough to take him at 1 though….

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLet me put it this way.
If Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Exum, Andrew Harrison, and Smart played last year/came out, Bennett wouldn’t crack the top-5.

For_Never_EverParticipantIm not sold on Randle. He is only 6’8.5 tall, with very short arms. Plays like a sf, but won’t be quick enough to guard NBA forwards, and can’t bully ball legit pf’s at the next level like he has been doing in HS/college. Can his game translate in the NBA?

tcrhs19ParticipantHave you seen his stats this year? He is a beast and will be a beast in the NBA. Most GMs post saying that he is the most likely to be the top pick next year.

qDizzle32ParticipantVery different level of competition for the two draft classes. You can say the same thing about why Carmelo or Dwyane Wade didn’t go #1 in 2003 when Kwame Brown did in 2001. Not the same talent level in their classes. It’s not fair to compare Randle going #1 to Bennett when next years class is likely to be a lot better than this year’s.

r377ParticipantThey hype wagon is always strong on here. But just like the wind, it goes just as quick as it came. So many sheep are quick to jump on board. You only have to read all the Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones, Austin Rivers, Andre Drummond, Shabazz Muhommed threads about them being future NBA All Stars.
I remember when Terrence Jones knocked in 50+pts from just a practice match alot of kids instantly put him in their top 5 and saying how great he would be….

MakarosParticipantWoah there cowboy, Harrison Barnes has only been in the league for a year and his performance in the playoffs last year certainly gave hope for future stardom..
Don’t put them all in the same basket..

jwall1ParticipantBennett was a surprise to go number 1 in a very weak draft… which does not say much
