I don’t get why he become so frustrated after Flip demanded more defence from him. If Tim Duncan can take getting licked by Greg Popavich many times, who is Andray Blatche to just zone out of the game and not want to enter back into the basketball game. They should’ve just kicked him off of the bench and sent him home. The dude really has a chance to be a great player in this league. Hope he doesn’t f*** things up!

sheltwon3ParticipantI sense Blatche was immature when he started talking bout being underpaid if he was a go to guy and it bothering him . That was stupid. You was the one that got in trouble and then signed a 5 year deal for cheap. You can’t blame noone for that but yourself. Work hard all those year because next season if Cousins is picked by your team you could be expendable. Cousins would team with Mcgee real well if you Blatche.

llperezI read that earlier. The way I would handle it would be real simple. Suspend him for the next game. Then have him come back to practice and don’t hold anything over him about it. Don’t bring it up. Put him right back in the starting lineup and act as if though nothing happened unless he brings it up. He wants to act like a prima donna, don’t give him that attention. Don’t add fuel to the fire and get things all worked up over this incident. Just make it real simple and remind him that he is not above the rules and he will be punished accordingly. That should wake him up and put him back into playing like a highly paid employee who is not above the rules. Getting into a war of words and getting into it with him will just be stooping to his immature level. It’s a business, you want to play, be a professional, otherwise you get to go home and miss a pay check.

HueBoND 2001ParticipantI am starting to see that this kid is CASE HEAD…..Smartin up you got charges for prostituition……You got shot…….Theres obviously a mental problem here. I am not holding that against him but in the name of the economy have some respect for those that are unemployed that can fill in and do the same job ur doing if given a shot…I think he is a case head though, another new yorker and im from jerzy
Lets go through the list:
Marbury, Alston, Artest, Odom has had talkative issuesGood ones: Telfair is a professional but had one outside incident and I can think of anyone else from New York..Ben Gordon but he is also a professional. Act like those guys its a priviledge to be in the league.
And demarcus better watch themselves these are not lebron james type talents….These are every 3 years another one comes around if you dont believe just look at the younger talent.

JNixonParticipantI never understand how you can get paid millions of dollars to play a damn sport, and not listen and put in effort. I would do almost anything to be in his situation, but he has a fit when the coach just tries to get him to defend to win a game? I don’t get it…

sheltwon3ParticipantFlip is an issue as well because obviously vets were feeling his stuff either but Blatche needs to not allow Flip to turn Blatche unto a fall guy. I have seen that tactic before and unfortunately Blatche is immature enough to fall for it.
