OhCanada-ParticipantNo brained. Positional need. Hometown hero. Shooting need. Frank Kaminsky would be my pick and I would likely regret not picking Lyles.

OhCanada-ParticipantOh yah the Suns took Kaminsky. Well then I pick Lyles. Looney is another hometown guy that gets interesting here but seems too far away from being productive.

machu46ParticipantRJ Hunter. Everything that’s come out of Bucks camp suggests that it’s between Portis, Hunter, and some speculation of Jarell Martin. And I don’t think Lyles has worked out for Milwaukee; which is something they require of basically any player they draft.

Lotto StudParticipantAs much as BPA (Trey Lyles) appears to favorable, I am rolling with you on this. R.J. Hunter will fill the void for Khris Middleton potentially inking a deal elsewhere. Orange Juice Mayonnaise is clearly not the answer at this point in his career to be that consistent backbone for leaning on to knock down the big shots, which showed on the big stage in the playoff series vs Chicago. Giannis Antetokounmpo cannot shoot it a lick with his wingspan because of his slow release at its lowest point.
This situation, pretty much does not take a rocket scientist to identify that this Bucks team desperately needs a shooter to compete while moving forward.
The frontcourt can always be worked on throughout the offseason, but do not pass up on the shooter that will come-up big when the guys with the greedy pay does not come through in the clutch.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantThey clearly need to upgrade at center but are more likely to address that through free agency. Even though I think Parker will be playing mostly pf for the foreseeable future I still like them taking lyles here. Hes the BPA imo and versatile enough to be able to play 2 or possibily 3 positions.

GBeeParticipantWith the way that they play, Jabari and Giannis will be seeing a lot of time at the 4. They also have Henson too as the back up. They traded away Ilyasova to create more PT at the 4. Why would they want to draft another player who’d need more minutes there?
I know they traded for MCW, but I think he sucks and to me he’s clearly not the answer at the 1. They need a PG. Someone with brains who can organize, distribute, shoot, play off the ball a little and run PnR effectively.
I’d take Tyus Jones.

piratejpParticipantConsidered Hunter or Vaughn, but Lyles is too good to pass here. Can play the 4 when they go big or slide over and play a little 5 when they go small, so fit really isn’t a problem.

Combined with Jabari and Giannis the Bucks would have some versatile forward options to use.

cryan03ParticipantKris Middleton is a FA and will most likely demand a bigger contract that Milwaukee may not want to pay him. Saw they are going to go after Brook Lopez which take of their need of a big man. So they Vaughn to replace Middleton and give them another young player to develop. If Vaughn pans out, a core of Vaughn-Giannis-Parker on the wing could be pretty good.
