sheltwon3ParticipantThe only reasons these teams are not top notch is chemistry and they have the wrong talents on their team and also that they are just too young. A smart rebuilding team with money could stock up on a lot of quality mid year veterans after next years quality to great draft especially if this past draft pans out more than expected. You have have guys that have shown starter potential like Session, Foye, Nick Young, Kirk Hinrich, Jason Terry. Lamar Odom, and many others coming off the bench now. With teams forcing young players to develop so fast and with veterans playing longer. You could put together a team of 10th players off the bench and it would be no worst than that Sacramento Kings or Clippers of past years.

sheltwon3ParticipantIf the Knicks were really smart with their moves they could possibly get a star and 2 or 3 starter type players. The will have money and also available time because unlike some teams that are set pretty much from 1 to 6, The Knicks don’t even has a decent starting 5 right now. They have not stars but they have promising young talent in Chandler and Lee and possibly Gallinari.

The Big OTop NBA teams flex muscles with sports agents>>>attract big name players
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/25/sports/basketball/25nba.html?_r=2&ref=todayspaper
there is big pressure for the sports agent to land a good player in a winning environment
its not a coincidence, there’s a reason 4 everythinga key trade/free agent signing HAS to happen now to compete with teams with elite depth
