valentineAwesome song for an incredible player. I miss A.I., the man that played and did it his way.

I May Be WrongParticipantMessage to some team – please give him a chance to win a championship cuz he was arguably the most passionate player in his prime. I will still believe in him until he officially calls it quits

MagikKnickParticipantWow that mix made me realize how old AI really is, he played against John Stockton, Mark Jackson, Charlie Ward, Reggie Miller, and Steve Kerr among others I seen become victims to his crossover in that video…
Ahhh, i miss AI, greatest undersized 2-guard to ever play…

4th dimensionPeople hate Lebron because he disappears in 4th quarters and in big games, everyone love/respect AI because he is a 6’0 overachiever who lays it all on the line regular season or playoffs, his intensity doesnt change.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantPeople hated LeBron even before his Finals disaster. Iverson crossed the wrong people (no pun intended) and now he finds himself without a job and personal issues.
This is all coming from an Iverson fan. He’s my favorite player but I cannot stand how hypocritical other people are.

4th dimensionAtleast Iverson’s legacy will forver be intact , (which is the greatest 6’0 scorer, who overachieve and layed it on the floor every single game)…. how will Lebron be remembered? Lebron can win 5 rings compared to AI’s zero rings, and AI will still be loved more, for the reason I mentioned above.

MagikKnickParticipantThe Hate for Lebron began from ‘The Decision’, and everything else after that has been disasterous for Lebron really..
Allen Iverson loved being a Sixer, played 10 full seasons their, his career began to trickle down the day he got traded to Denver, and only got worse when he got sent to Detroit

Cardinal_FanParticipantLove A.I. but unfortunately he made his own bed when it comes to getting another shot at the league. His me 1st attitude ruined his shot at winning a ring. If he showed willingness to take a smaller role he would probably have a roster spot somewhere. The Heat could have used him in a Jason Terry type role. He would have been a upgrade over Bibby.

M-DYMESParticipantAs a Philadelphian, this man was far more than a basketball player. He was and still is an icon in the city. Every night he poured his heart and soul out onto that floor like no player before him. His energy, toughness, and relentlessness were unmatched.
God I miss the A.I. and Larry Brown days.

I May Be WrongParticipantWhile I enjoy the occasional poking of fun at some users, let’s not do it to 4th today cuz everything he wrote was 100% true and we shouldn’t provoke him unnecessarily. He will literally go HAM and probably sausage if we’re not careful and call us idiots but he would actually have a reason this time cuz he’ll be provoked. Let’s just move along for tonight
Great post tonight 4th +1

NJHooper95ParticipantIverson never backed down from Jordan, the Media, the Critics, and the NBA. He ushered in a new cultural era in the NBA with his tats and braids and made us love him. Maybe the greatest little guy to play the game, cant forget Tiny and Zeke though. Only player I remember to have his cross-over banned because it could not be stopped.
