It actually wouldnt be a bad fit, unless he complains his way out. He would be a nice fit, but for the right price and limited years.

dont say on the topic allen iverson to the knicks likes its surefire happening…… u get 2 thumbs down…. but if it does i think ai changes his status back to franchise player there…. he would tear people up in ny….. and iguodala9 the contract they would offer is a 1 year MLE… hopefully this happens… as they would be the new sixers of 2000… i would try to watch every game thats for sure..

A Match made in HEAVEN!! AI could go back to the day of taking 30 shots a night with no one there to interupt him and that wouldn’t even give this coach (unlike l. brown) a headache… this would solve New York problem of not having a go to guy (or atleast a guy who thinks his is a go to guy) on their team.. and they would still not make the playoffs and get a good draft pick ( oopppps sorry they traded that pick.. again!) but atleast it would only be a one year deal and this wouldn’t kill the DREAM of signing two big name free agents next season

i don’t like it because he refuses to come off the bench. he doesn’t have that winning mentality, so i think he would just be poison for the knicks.

first off who would start over him… larry hughes? nasty nate? toney douglas? this team is made for ai and they would probably have a good shot tomake the playoffs with a lineup of

      duhon
      iverson
      chandler
      lee
      curry

not to mention they would be the most fun team in the league to watch… maybe besides houston if tmac can stay healthy

This may work. So much for Sessions!

Dhamp….the greatest mind in basketball. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

Knicks are getting Sessions though. Sessions passing skills could turn the Knicks into Phoenix Suns of the East and D’ antoni knows it.

Thats scary… Iverson in a straight up run and gun offense where he can do whatever he wants. The Knicks still may not win anything, but they would definately be fun to watch. I have a question for you all, do you think Robinson would even accept the Knicks qualifying offer if Iverson signed with them? I mean they already have Hughes, Duhon, Douglass and are said to be adding Sessions. There are too many players on the Knicks squad that already demand the ball a lot…

also if they sign sessions they probably wont have enough for lebron… this deal makes more sense…. they could pay him 5.7 mil and they would probably make so much money just from ai sellin tickets…

well AI was having problems in detroit. Rodney Stuckey was ahead of him so i’m in the mindset that he’s on the decline and that he’s not a very good team guy. that being said, i remember him not wanting to come off the bench in detroit, causing more problems for them. i’ve also read that there is a lot of talk that he’s not very good locker room guy. with all that’s been going on with the knicks, i really don’t think they should do something like that, it feels like it would be a step back for them. in theory, it might look like a fun team, but AI going to detroit looked like a good trade as well.
