European BasketballerParticipantSo I posted here about Giannis Antetokounmpo before he was even heard of or known by anyone in NBA or USA. I was attacked and called a troll. He goes 15th in NBA draft, becomes starter as a teenager in NBA, and now is "franchise player" of Bucks.
I posted here about Georgios Papagiannis, also before anyone in USA and NBA knew who he was. I was again called a troll. Now he goes 13th in NBA draft and already at age 18 they say he will sign with Kings.
Besides this, just in recent years, I was the one first mentioning Kostas Papanikolaou here and he was drafted and also was rotation player in NBA before he went back to Euroleague.
Also, I talked here about Thanasis Antetokounmpo before anyone had heard of him, and he was drafted by NBA, and eventually played 2 games in NBA (not sure if he will play in NBA again). I was called a troll also for mentioning T. Antetokounmpo and Papanikolaou.
So I have question, after I proved here without doubt that I am talking about truth here and that I am not trolling when I mention Greek players here, or some others from Europe, or other international players, am I still going to be called a troll and accused of trolling?

ProudGrandpaParticipantthe day of reckoning is upon us
keeping doing what you’re doing, EB, it’s clear you at least bring something to the table on this site.
But let’s wait and see if Papagiannis actually comes to the NBA and amounts to anything first. And might I remind you that Papanikolaou was a 35% shooter in his time in the NBA.

TyroberParticipantIf youre going to mention those 3 you need to mention the other 100 that arent and will never be in the NBA. Good job on those 3 but I will still end up calling you a troll since you have a 3% success rate.

JoeWolf1It’s not that you don’t talk about good players, it’s that you say things like Vassilis Spanoulis would be the best PG in the NBA, and when we disagree you call everyone a racist.

European BasketballerParticipantSpanoulis would be the best point guard in the NBA. David Blatt even said the same thing.

SwatLakeCityParticipantLets see if Papagiannis amouts to anything first. I think the Kings drafted him way to early. If they wanted him that badly, fine, wait until round 2 and then trade for him, or just select him at 59, he probably still would have been available. If he would have gone before 59, but still second round, (which is what I was thinking might happen if he ended even be drafted, no one, not even you thought he would go 13), then they could have traded the 59th pick, and some cash to whoever decided to draft him, and they probably still would have ended up with Papagiannis. They probably should have picked Deyonta Davis with the 13th pick, but instead they decided to waste a pick on Papagiannis, when they probably still could have gotten him in the 2nd round.
But congrats Papagiannis has gotten past the first hurdle of getting drafted (even if it was in the lottery). Now let’s see if he can past the second hurdle of not becoming a bust. That hurdle will be much harder because he was a lottery pick.

alex23ParticipantEven a broken clock is right twice a day, however I will give you props on Papagiannis. I’m still baffled how he went in the lottery (but I shouldn’t be due because it was the Kings who picked him up).

McDunkinYou’re 2-89 so far my boy but that approval rating is on the incline
But I still gotta hate on you until we get the dominant NBA seasons for the Clippers from sofoklis schortsanitis you promised us years ago.

phila9012ParticipantYour argument is made void because he was drafted by the kings. It basically means he will be declared a bust within 2 to 3 years. He may be good but they already have cousins, WCS and koufos and drafted another center skal with their other pick. He may have been good on another team but since the kings took him there is a high likely hood with in the next few years he will be a bust.

ChoppyParticipantExcept when you call everyone racist for not agreeing with you. Respect on Big Papa (I’m trying to start a nickname), no one (except you and Vlade) considered him going in the first round let alone the lottery. I’m intrigued to see what he can do. I hope he comes over for this season.

A Lil EnglishParticipantWhat about the constant tirades about Greek players apparently don’t get drafted to the NBA because there is a bias???
I hated this because you said it even after Papanikalau was drafted.

r377ParticipantEuroballer – Chad Ford has Vasileios Charalampopoulos and Aleksandar Vezenkov in his top 100 for the 2017 draft.
What’s your thoughts on these two prospects ?
