     i think he absolutely is the winner in the combine, for the moment..

    don’t understand why people keep saying winners are players like vonleh or aaron gordon..

    everybody knew vonleh’s wingspan but he was supposed to be 6’10 w/s and he only measured 6’8 w/o shoes. i mean his numbers are still very good but he is shorter than expected.

    same with aaron gordon..he only measured 6’7.5” with an average 6’11 wingspan and 220 pds.. i don’t think he’ll do very well as a PF with those numbers..

    payne measured 6’9 w/o shoes! with a huge 7’4 wingspan, 240 pds and a 9’1 reach, second overall.. if you add his shooting and athletic ability that’s a hell of a player..sure he’s 23, ok, but i think this guy is absolutely ready to contribute since game 1 and impact where ever he lands..

     Adrein Payne is going to be a very successful player in the league. His age hurts his stock, but he seems like a player who can come in and start from day 1.

     What isn’t there to like – very athletic, terrific size, excellent shooter, good program/coaching/competition.  He’ll definitely be moving up the board.  I think his team-mate Harris will be dropping with his less than inspiring 2 guard size.  Reminds me of Jodi Meeks

      Except Gary Harris was one of the two best perimeter defenders in the big ten last year.

    I’ve been screaming all year he’s a lottery pick. He’s battled injuries and has an illness, but he leaves it all on the court. Now he’s measured great on top of all that. His motor is unquestionable. He has necessary skills and is a beast. I would take him in the lottery for sure. 6-10 I think is very reachable for him.

      Same here, he’s the most complete big in the draft. Can’t wait to see what he’ll do in the league.

    He reminds me of Taj Gibson, but is a better shooter. Was hoping Bulls would get him at 19. Now 16 might not be possible.

     Praying on the off chance that he falls to 20 so my Raptors can snag him. He can play the 4 or the 5 with his size and fit into the rotation from Day 1. Having Amir Johnson and Valanciunas on the court created a lot of spacing issues and Payne can fit alongside either of those guys with his ability to step out and knock down the 3 or bang down low
