I dont know much about this guy, but from the video he has that KD look to him. (NO I’m not saying he is the next KD haha)

But when you see a guy with a 7’2″ wingspan listed as a ?PG? it kind of catches your eye.

Is this guy highly regarded? Because I have yet to hear much of him.

Made a thread about him I believe not to long ago. Judging by the video he has some skills but i don’t think he was playing highly skilled players.

Yea I figured the skill of his opponents may have been weak.

Still looks like an intriguing prospect.

Players don’t need to be playing vs good competition to be recognized as freaks. Yes, this kid is a freak. His combination of length, fluidity and ball skills for his height is very impressive. Both he and his brother are ones to keep tabs on. His brother doesn’t have quite the physical dimensions, but he’s got good length, athleticism with a very good first step.

Kostas Papanikolaou was drafted last year by the Knicks.

Kostas Koufos, a Greek, is the starting center of the Denver Nuggets. George Printezis and Kostas Papanikolaou have been drafted in recent years..

I get the whole jokes with the Greeks, especialle since EB has been so blatanlty attracting them, but let’s not go overboard.

Greece IS a traditional basketball powerhouse in global standards and has produced more than enough quality players.

Exactly. People should not bash Greeks because EB, there is no cure for him.

To me it’s normal Adetokunbo is not on mock drafts (not because he is Greek 🙂 ) sice he didn’t have much international exposure where people could see him playing. I guess he is sleeper. Personaly can’t wait to see him in game. Hope he gets invite for hoop summit. That’s I guess only chance for me to see him before summer

Nope. I assure you they knew about him. many people have written about him to the other main draft site in emails and Facebook. For a long time too. Never once has he even made their top 50 1994 ranking.

The ONLY reason is because he is Greek.

because you write emails, that does not mean some jurnalist/scout will put him in top 50….you have no cerdibility because you are just crazy poster. that’s truth

Imo, for your information you might see him in rankings for mounth or 2. 1 journalist will visit Greece in next days

According to you, why do Americans hate Greece so much?

The Celtics measured him at 6’9 1/2″ and with a 7’3″ wingspan. They also said he is still growing.

It is said that many big Euroleague clubs, like Barca, Real Madrid, Efes, Fenerbahce, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos want to sign both him and his brother, Thanasis.

It is also said that many NBA scouts are attending the practices of their team.

If he was Spanish, he would be already famous in the USA there would be so much endless hype coming from that same draft site that pretends they never heard of him.

You wouldn’t care about him. Racist (or, more accurately, nationalist).

Usually I need multiple viewings to make a prediction on a player, but right off the bat I see this kid as a lotto talent. The only thing that could prevent him from being a lotto player is the timetable for when he might come over, which I know nothing about.

Adetokunbo does look legit, if he does in fact make it to the NBA, I’ll have to give Euro Baller his credit, he was hyping him up 2 months ago when there was absolutely nothing on google about this guy, the first result on google was the thread Euro Baller made, lol.
