    What have you all got for bold predictions for next year? Yeah, I know it’s WAY too early to make these calls, but it’s fun to think about the future, haha

     

    1) As much as I hate to say it, I bet a lockout will happen; at the very least there’s a shortened season.

    2) Blake Griffin brings the Clips into playoff contention.

    3) Deron Williams chooses not to resign with the Nets.

    4) Chris Paul or Dwight Howard moved midseason? 

     

    I don’t know if any of these will happen for sure, just some possibilities. Let me know what you’ve got!

    As much as I hate to say it, I bet a lockout will happen; at the very least there’s a shortened season.

     

    I don’t think this will happen, the only reason it happened in the NFL is because owners aren’t losing money during the regular season so they have money to spare.  On the other hand, most NBA owners are losing money and if an entire season is locked out or even partially locked out, owners will lose ever more money than they are already losing.

    NFL Owners: Win / Win situation

    NBA Owners: Draw / Lose situation

    A lockout will happen, but there will be games played.

     

    Not alot of people know this but, the NBA needs to play at least 50 games to have it considered a "season"

    Jordan Taylor will be at least 2nd team All-America if he is as good next season as he was this year. If anything, he’ll be better due to the increased load he’ll have to carry on the Badgers.
