Aaron Gordon reminds me of Blake Griffin, should he return to Arizona?

This kid looks like a freak in the making, he’s definitely going to be a Pf in the NBA, he’s got a strong frame and a relentless motor…
If he were to return bigger and better next season I think he’d be the Top Pick ala Blake Griffin, this class is just so strong and deep that he could fall of the Top 5 this year (Big guys with his athletic ability and potential usually go higher than he’s currently projected)
Does AG return to school next season and cement himself as a #1 pick, or does he enter the 2014 draft and avoid a situation like James McCaddo?

I know NBAdraft has him pretty low, but he looks like a top 10 pick to me. I just have a hard time thinking anybody who can get some guaranteed money returning to school. An injury could cost him millions and I just don’t think it is worth the risk.

I think Aaron Gordon will be a solid NBA player. I don’t see him being an all star but I see him as a athletic glue type guy who will hustle, play defense and do whatever is asked of him to help the team win.

    I had the exact same thought about him. You never know, depending on how the draft goes he may be a Sixer with their second first round pick.

His height shouldnt be too much of a concern..He is an incredible leaper and has a 6’11 wingspan…And he might not be done growing..Remember Paul George grew 2 inches during the summer in 2011….

His love and energy makes me want like his potential as a player but then think of guys like Derrick Williams, and Anthony Bennett who were drafted high but can’t find there spot in the NBA

He is sixth on one draft board, and I think he will move up on some more. I think he can go six, too. Maybe even a bit higher. If he is supposed to go that high he should go pro, especially if Arizona makes it to the Final Four or wins the title.
Next year’s draft won’t be as good but there are some good bigs that will be freshmen next year. Plus, you have guys that will stay, and a guy like Dante Exum who might decide to go to college for a year.

What I’ve seen from Gordon is impressive. He is a great team player, has a Noah like motor, and seems very coachable. He is plenty big to play PF in todays NBA.

If he returns, he has to put up 22 and 11 with 3 blocks to be the number 1 pick. He will have to clearly show improvement.
That being said, i would love to see him return.
