Sewok15ParticipantWho would the Jazz even take in that spot? They clearly need a PG but would it be too soon to take Kendall Marshall?

lisergxParticipantTHANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I truthfully as a Jazz fan am putting the Golden State Warriors before the LA Lakers, SA Spurs, Chi Bulls and Den Nuggets as my most hated team! NOT only because they stole what is rightfully our pick but they gave their fans trash, as regards to Basketball, starting 5 rookies the last couple weeks of the regular season, 4 second rounders.

fliptonnParticipantThey would probably take the best available and trade the pick

the27guyParticipantDear Lottery Gods,
I know I’m asking a lot, but I want Golden State to fall to #8 tonight. Can you help me out here? Please? I know they need it more than we do, but I don’t think they deserve it. They tanked like crazy at the end of the year just to have a chance…. then they somehow won an extremely important coin flip that increased their odds of keeping the pick from 15% to 72%. This just doesn’t seem right… don’t they deserve to get the shaft tonight?
Please please please let GS fall to #8… PLEASE.
Regards,
All Jazz fans everywhere

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantImagine them getting the #1…they’d be able to trade both Millsap and Jefferson, and holydamn their frontcourt would be insane.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI am hoping that the Lottery will shape out something like this:
- Hornets
- Bobcats
- Pistons
- Cavs
- Wizards
- Kings
- Blazers
- Jazz (from Warriors)
- Raptors
- Hornets (from Wolves
- Blazers
- Bucks
- Suns
- Rockets
Is this is what happens or something similar then let’s just hope Utah does not accept or listen to any offers from the Warriors to trade their lottery pick. Don’t reward the Warriors for tanking. If the lottery is rigged then Commisioner Stern has to see that the Warriors can’t stay where they are at or worse move up to one one of top 3 picks. It would just be morally wrong.

Toronto16ParticipantIf by lottery god you mean David Stern, sure, good luck….

lisergxParticipant^^How can they get the #1 pick?? If it is anywhere from 1-7 Golden State gets it!

aamir543ParticipantDear Lotto Gods,
I know we tanked, but so did every other team in the top 10, plain and simple(With the exception of the Bobcats, they were trying to win). From a fans view it’s not our fault that our retarded front office traded a potential top 10 pick for Marcus Williams. MARCUS WILLIAMS! Year after year for decades and decades we’ve never had a chance to contend, so why rob us of our chance to get an impact guy with upside? Please consdier this, I’ll be praying like hell to keep the pick.
Please keep our pick in the top 7.
Sincerely,
Disgrunteled Warriors fans everywehre

rickyD510ParticipantThe cats deserve it most they are by far the worst team in nba history other then them I want the kings to get it we have dropped in every lottery since ’09 and if we get Davis I think the kings will have a better chance of staying in Sacramento.

NYK2010ParticipantJazz will be fine if they stop passing up better players in the draft.
Here’s some of their recent draft picks or blunders.
Gordon Hayward over Paul George,Alec Burks over Shumpert, Faried, Kawhi Leonard, Marshon Brooks.
Kousta Koufas over Ibaka, George Hill, Batum, Dre Jordan, Chalmers, Pekovic, Dragic.
Morris Almond over Aaron Brooks, Aaron Afflalo, Tiago Splitter, Carl Landry, Big Baby, Marc Gasol.
Ronnie Brewer over Rondo, Kyle Lowry. Robert Whaley over Amir Johnson, Marcin Gortat.
Kirk Snyder over Delonte West, Josh Smith, Tony Allen, Kevin Martin, Jameer Nelson, JR Smith, Dorelle Wright
The Deron Williams pick in 06 was a no brainer either him or CP3 esp. after Atlanta passed on both to take the overhyped Marvin Williams.
Some of that might be nit picking but outside of a couple of picks they’ve been awful. The 2nd round gem in Paul Millsap and a nice late 1st with Eric Maynor are the only bright moves they’ve made.
The ones that really hurt were Kirk Snyder and Kousta Koufas they were bad.

no skillsParticipantamen. i am a jazz fan and i want the pick bad but at the same time i do feel bad for gsw fans for having a team with management like they do but in the end they are stuck with the deal the management made. let the balls fall where they do (or let stern pick the order). i do believe in karma and what the gsw did was bad and i hope they do not get the pick because of it.

CodySLCParticipantThe odds are in Golden States favor. And i dont blame there fans. I would want the pick also. But the management deserves to lose it. They put that garbage team out there for some of the best fans in the league.

CodySLCParticipantHow many teams passed on those players you named? Alot. You could probably make a similar list for every team in the league outside of the Spurs.
