Memphis is working out guards. the just committed to Conley, Gay, Zack. They will keep Gasol so that means theres not much funds left. They also drafted Henry and signed tony allen.Memphis could use a back center and small forward as well as point guard depth. So if Chicago was to offer the 28th and 30th pick i could see it happening. With those picks i would take Singler or bertains and maybe a point guard orbest available player.

Unless he goes back to his old ways (like he use to do in HS), attacking more and driving to the basket more, its not going to matter where he goes, or who he plays with, OJ Mayo needs do the things he was very good at.

If Mayo went to Chicago he wouldn’t need to attack the basket as much because Rose can do that while Mayo compliments him with his outside shooting.

So basically a 11PPG spot up shooting guard is the missing piece for the Bulls?

Mayo hasnt really been great since the first half of his rookie year…There’s a good chance he peeked his senior year of high school. He’s about a year older then everyone from his draft class and about 10 guys from that class are better than him

I would take George Hill over Mayo in a heartbeat

I’d take Hill over Mayo as well.

Hill is the better combo guard. He’s longer and can defend better… Defends both guard spots. Very good defender on and off of the ball. He shoots just as well. He’s more athletic and finishes better around the rim. Great work ethic and great attitude on/off of the court. No ego.

And I think Hill can still get a lot better.
