FUNKYBUNCHParticipant_________ will make an impact in the NBA out of this year’s draft class as an undrafted FA.

Tight ButtholeParticipantYancy Gates can come in and give strength to a bench in need of some toughness and rebounding.
John Shunra could play the role of Steve Novak, coming in and hitting some 3’s.
Miles Plumlee is 7′ and can jump out of the gym. Some of that has to translate at the NBA level.
Reggie Hamilton lead the NCAA in scoring at 26ppg. Undersized guard, but can score in bunches.

0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/14/2012 - 7:24am #681447

FastAndFuriousParticipantNegs arent anything to you apparently lol so why you trippin?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/14/2012 - 7:26am #681449
SpacegrassParticipantDon’t worry about the negs , you have a few douches that just float around giving negs without ever making a counterpoint. Giving negs is what gives them purpose in their meaningless lives.

surveParticipantI dont know if he goes undrafted, there is a chance he will, but I really like Hollis Thompson.

B-ball fanParticipantPeople probably negged you because the odds that that many undrafted FAs make an impact are slim.
I think if Ricardo Ratliffe goes undrafted, he could still make an impact. He is an efficient interior scorer who has excellent mobility. He just needs to develop a mid-range jump shot.

F_Sthese are guys who all have a chance, i wasnt really implying they all will be picked up by a team.
and fastandfurious, i dont care about the actual negs, but i want to know why people think i’m so wrong

F_S^ yea but you cant compare this year’s draft to last year’s draft because is muych deeper. i have trouble finding spots for all the players that i think should be drafted and i dont even include euro prospects in mocks

fliptonnParticipantI’m gonna go with No One will make and impact this year as an undrafted free agent. Just don’t see it happening. No one did last year unless you count Ivan Johnson or Gustavo Ayon who are 28 & 27 years old.

FastAndFuriousParticipantBro, I wonder the same things, why do people Neg instead of give an explanation, some people just play follow the leader on here, if they see alot of negs on a comment they will neg just because everyone else did, instead of telling you why they disagree with your statement.

TomShoeParticipantRenardo Sidney, anyone?
He’s a fat f*ck, but he’s a fat f*ck with top 10 talent.
If he ever loses weight and realizes that he’s going to waste away in Europe if he doesn’t shape up, he could be a solid players in this league.
I mean look at the guy:

Doesn’t that just scream NBA player?
I also think Bernard James is also a potential pick. Most teams are scared away because of his age, but he’s got first-round talent.

JoeWolf1Kevin Murphy – 6’7” swing man who can hit shots off screens as well as create his own shot. Had some buzz going about being picked in the 2nd round, but seems to have quited down. I suspect he’ll be the type of guy who 20+ a game in the D-League and someone brings him up and gives him a shot.
Marcus Denmon – Undersized two, but a pesky on-ball defender and great in the passing lanes. Not to mention boasting a 40” vertical and a sweet outside shot. If he were 6’5” he’d be a 1st round pick, but I think he’ll take a similar path as my prediction for Murphy.
Robert Sacre – A ton of teams are working this guy out, yet I don’t think he’ll get drafted. Size is scarce and despite not putting up big numbers a 7′ 260lb body and decent athletic ability will get him in the summer leauge. He seems like a likely 3rd center to be playing for an NBA team.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantBased on mock draft I would say Robbie Hummel. His knee is probably the biggest reason he would get undrafted.

ChrispyParticipantand Casper Ware, as great as he was in college, will not be a factor in the L. Size, lack of athletic ability and the fact he struggles getting his J up over size… just don’t see it. I like Murphy, although the sample size I have seen is less than 5 whole games. I think a guy at the FA level needs to fill a single roll to be effective and get burn. I think Bernard James fills the roll of a 3rd big with a defensive mindset and that Dee Bost would fill a roll as an athletic Keyon Dooling type off the pine.
