The Scare Crow RisesParticipantOver the last few days the Trade Rumors have begun to surface, and one of the Hot Topics is the desire of The Warriors and Raptors to deal their respective top 10 picks for a proven SF, many have linked Iguadola to the Warriors(who attempted to trade for Iggy last season) and The Raptors are linked to Rudy Gay(they tried to sign Wilson Chandler when he returned from the Lock Out)
Many Rumors have also stated Syracuse Guard Dion Waiters has cancel all workouts and basketball activities and most assume he has a 1st round promise(10 to 20 range)
Here’s where Philadelphia gets involved, I believe they are the Team targeting Waiters with their 15th pick overall, he’s a Philadelphia native and a good replacement for RFA Lou Williams
The 76ers and The Warriors are more than likely to make the obvious trade of Iguadola for Dorrell Wright and the 7th pick…The 76ers would then select one of the most underrated Pf’s in the Draft
I’m talking about Jared Sullinger of course, another tough nosed National Player of the Year from Ohio State, he and Turner together would provide a good inside/outside duo, and both of those guys have tremendous heart and confidence, I believe they’d be the pillars to a very good Sixers team for years to come…
With the 45th and 54th picks I believe the Sixers will follow a recent formula and draft local players to produce in backup roles
Enter Malik Wayns with the 45th pick and Dominic Cheek with the 54th…These nova guards can workout in the longrun, I don’t see Cheeks making the Team(although we had Xaiver Silas on our roster this year for some odd reason) Wayns is a player I believe can be a great backup in the Sixers system…
In the end the Sixers draft 3 local kids and a Proven College Star from Ohio State…The Team would also be adding a Shooter in Wright and likely save some money for the future(Holiday and Turner extensions) they only have to let go of Iguadola for the 7th Pick, a player who’s seen his best days in a Sixers uniform and the perfect fit for a Warriors team looking to make the playoffs, it’s time to part ways on good terms…

mosdefParticipanton WIP they had a basketball guy on and said there are rumors of Iggy and GS but in the end doesnt expect Iggy to get traded cuz he had a good playoff and he really respects Doug Collins.

delfamParticipantTurner/Sullinger = Inside/Outside Presence? Are you serious? More like inside/inside

Sewok15ParticipantIt does look like the sixers are going to go with a guard at 15 so Waiters would make the most sense. I don’t think they will trade Igoudala for the 7th pick but it would be a decent move because they are a few years away from title contention. Sullinger would be a surprise but he would fit in nicely in Philly and be a go to guy in the half court which is the teams biggest need. Draft night will certainly be interesting and this could be a huge trade.
