The Scare Crow RisesParticipantIn my opinion the "hot" start the 76ers got off too could cost us the #1 pick, but does any team in the league excite you as much in defeat then these ‘Sixers?
MCW, Wroten, Thad Young and Elliot Williams can flat out fly, E.T has had his moments and we haven’t even got a glimpse of what the #6 pick Nerlens Noel can do out there
Can we just all pretend the draft is NOT fixed and the basketball gods give us a shot at drafting the best player in this draft class (That player being Jabbari Parker) A player that could single handedly change are outlook going forward, the prospect we’d land with the Pelicans pick would just be a cherry on that sunday, but lets say they get lucky and land a gem with that pick(Harris, Gordon, Young, Hood or maybe even a guy like Randle, Exum or Smart falls to 7 in some crazy situation where a team reaches for a guy they love ala Cleveland

WolfRobParticipantNeg away, but I still think if you get the first pick, you take Andrew Wiggins.

I got us drafting wiggins honestly if he’s available ain’t no passing on a player with his potential

Tap892ParticipantWith wiggins, they can be a real special team defensively. I also think wiggins has a better shot at reaching his potential with a pass first point guard like mcw, that can get him the ball, and help create offense for him.

MopgrassParticipantYou make a couple good points.
MCW is a 6’6" PG and Wiggins could be a 6’8" SG. That could make things real interesting.
Nerlens is a heck of a shot blocker. He weighs, what? 75 pounds? If he can hold down the Hibberts of the world, they have the beginning of a nice defensive core.

MUbballfanParticipantHopefully the Sixers don’t catch up to the Bucks for worst record, but they sure are gaining ground quickly………. Then again the team with the worst record never seems to win the lottery anymore so maybe it’s better to finish second or third worst.

King CaluchaParticipantIt’s all a matter of probabilities. It’s always better to be the worst eventhough it doesn’t ensure anything.

Ebown5ParticipantI’m a Sixers fan that is heavily invested in them being very bad this year, but my goodness are they horrible. LOL
Their defense is embarassing and it isnt the coach. Brett Brown has been doing as well as could be expected in my opinion. I am impressed with him as a leader and a coach, but this team is just full of guys that should be in the nbdl…by design.
I just hope that the tanking gods dont punish us like they punished the Celtics in the Tim Duncan year. Remember that year when they had two lottery picks and tanked hard, but ended up with picks 3 and 6?
It almost seems too good to be true from our perspective to end up with the number 1 pick, and would be annoying to all of the other teams.
Thankfully we don’t have to get the first pick to still get a franchise player.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantI have us taking Embid regardless. Him and Noel in the front court??? WOW.. Hard to pass on that. But we need someone next to MCW and ET (If he signs with us) and Wroten is too good. Love his game. I would take Parker if we are not signing ET but i lineup of MCW, Wroten, ET, Embid and Noel would be dope. Still need shooting tho

Memphis MadnessParticipant^^^^
Taylor, I like the idea of Embiid and Noel inside too. With Spencer Hawes as a third big who can shoot.
The 76ers can’t really screw up a top 5 or 6 pick. Even Marcus Smart could work I think. He and MCW are just too talented to not be able to figure it out.
Aaron Gordon would be a great fit too as an athletic power forward who can dunk and defend (2 D?).

rileymcshea3ParticipantI disagree, I don’t think Aaron Gordon would be a good fit. He is basically the same player as Thad Young

phila9012ParticipantI think the 76ers should keep ET or thad and get an SF or PF, depending on who they keep. and an SG who can shoot with their second pick. I think they should sign ET and trade thad for a late teens early 20s first round pick

MopgrassParticipantNoel is missing the year when he could be playing by now and Carter-Williams missed his 7th game from a knee infection.
By the end of the year, they’ll have guys out with gingivitis.
