2020-21 Pre Season Pac-12 Preview

Finally got to get back into a gym this weekend for the Hoop Seen West preview camp powered by Pro Insight! Was a fantastic time, some real hidden gems who should blow up in time. Talked about the camp in Utah, and the focus on Viseland was a breakdown of the Pac-12 conference for the 2020-21 NCAA basketball season. We ranked the teams, talk about top returning players and newcomers, even give a prediction on Pac-12 POY.

In terms of the camp, Prospective Insight has a ton of great video. Also think people should just be following Hoop Seen and Hoop Seen West, plus Ball Dawgs will have a ton of nice highlights. Nolan Hickman was a top senior there, he is at Wasatch Academy and headed to Kentucky. But a few names that are under the radar currently are Kevin Patton Jr., Langston Reynolds and Jimmy Oladokun. Some Vegas guys for the future are Dedan Thomas Jr., Taj Degourville and Sebastian Mack.

Also had the privilege of going to Jaxon Kohler’s house to see him work out against 7’0 Mady Traore, who is playing for Bishop Walsh HS in MD by way of France. Jaxon is a classic post who has range and a lot of basketball acumen, plus a real competitive streak. Mady has rare physical gifts, nice straight line speed and some pretty special agility. He has a 7’3 wingspan, 9’5 standing reach and with a long running head start, apparently touched 12’8. Immediately after the camp, Mady received offers from Auburn and Kansas, with plenty more who are interested. Another special athlete was Keba Keita from Wasatch, who hit 12’3 and is very strong at close to 6’9.
