2011 Cleveland Cavs seem like an expansion team

not really..they have jamison a 2 time allstar
varejao has made the all defensive team..
mo williams was an allstar..not a deserving 1..but he made it becuz the cavs were a good team..and due to several injuries..
they dont have a major superstar anymore..

all would’ve been peaceful in cavs town..if dumb dan had agreed to involve hickson in the trade for amare…but he ticked off lebron and ferry..by not agreeing to that trade..now he’s paying the price…

I remember about 2 years ago the asking price around the trade deadline was Ben Wallace, Delonte West, and a 1 rounder. The Cavs said no because they didn’t want to give up Delonte (oh the irony). Then last trade deadline they wanted big Z, Hickson and a pick and they said no.

If by expansion team you mean no direction, no centerpiece, no idea about chemistry, and filled with role players that would be 6th men on most teams then yes I think they are like an expansion team. The only diff is expansion teams get a first pick. Their only improvement is they got rid of Mike Brown.

I agree with Faction. The Cavs should commit to rebuilding right now. They should sell away Mo, Jamison and everyone of any value except for maybe Hickson instead of trying to compete now. This is probably because of Gilbert’s promise to win a championship before James lol. They cannot win anything with Mo and Jamison as the stars of the team!! REBUILD!! instead of trying to compete now and get a backup pg lol.

Tha Cavs SHOULD be rebuilding. But their owner put his foot in his mouth by promising the fans a title before Lebron.
