llperez1)the re-emergence of shaun livingston. After recording 22 points to go with 5 assists and 6 rebounds saturday night, livingston has now scored in double figures in 4 of the last 5 games and has seen his minutes increase. I watched a few minutes of a bobcats game the other day and was impressed with how well shaun looked handling the ball with great confidence. DJ Augustin has been improved this year but still very inconsistent. Might we see a pg battle brewing in charlotte down the stretch?
2)the battle for the last few playoff spots in the west. Right now 10 teams out west currently have a winning record. At the moment, thunder, spurs, mavericks and lakers appear to be in safely. Jazz, hornets, nuggets, grizz, suns and blazers are gonna be fighting it out for the last 4 spots. So who do you like?

DanEboyParticipantCharlotte is probably trying to shop one of the two.
I think the Nuggets and Grizz will miss the playoffs.

omphalosParticipantI like the Grizzlies to make playoffs, they’ve been winning games while Mayo has been out, and even managed to beat the Thunder without Gay too, which is big. I see Portland or maybe Utah giving up their spot to Memphis. With Sloan gone, who knows what will happen in Utah; this isn’t a Larry Brown or Jim O’Brien firing, this is Jerry Sloan, he’s too in-grained in their DNA for the Jazz not to be inbalanced for a little while.
