high floorParticipantThese stats were initially broadcasted by James Holas of Bballbreakdown.com, and confirmed via basketball-reference.com. Amazingly, only 9 players in NBA history have compiled season averages of 17pts, 4rebs, 4assists, and 1.7 steals at the age of 22 or younger. Those players were none other than Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Kevin Johnson, Isaiah Thomas (Bad Boys Isaiah, not current Celtics Isaiah) and our ________________ mystery man.
This list includes perrenial all-stars, franchise cornerstones, MVP candidates and winners, HOF’ers, and very least of all 2nd option types on successful playoff organizations. Have you guessed who it is yet??
I’ll give you a hint.. he’s a guy I have predicted (and probably short changed) as a 3rd option on contending team. He’s 6’4, has a developing handle and outside jumper, elite defensive potential, and goes by the name "Mr. 360" among his teammates.
Based on these numbers (and I’m a numbers guy) we could be watching a future All NBA performer who most of us dubbed as excellent role player. Definitely not a perrenial all-star.

ChewyParticipantThough Tyreke had even better rookie stats IMO. Too bad he hasn’t been able to replicate those numbers since then…
20 pts, 5.8 ast, 5.3 rebs and 1.5 stl

high floorParticipantTyreke Evans hit 20-5-5, but average less steals. John Wall almost had it his rookie season, but was short on ppg and then short on stls his 2nd and 3rd year.
Crazy to think that Oladipo’s accomplishments on the stat sheet fall within that group of star players. He could have a major "Jimmy Butler-like" breakout season this year.

XYRYXParticipantMan sorry you really suck very badly on this forum.
You root for the Celtics and push your guys but honestly predicting Gobert, Turner or Smart to be good is exaxctly what most people who follow the NBA are saying anyway.
You are basically overdooing every post on here and this is boring as hell. Your conversation with yourself(!) about the Clippers frontoffice is rediculous and your fishing for Clicks embarassing to all of us and I can’t wait until the season starts and we have something to talk about. I kind of feel sorry that you can’t really let go and be honest to yourself and go beyond bandwagoning. You seem to be interested a lot into the league and we need people who care but cmon.
Predicting nowadays is everyones favorite sport and some go to far and push and push and on. Calm down a bit boy

T RexYeah, now everybody knows Gobert is talented. Very much unlike before that draft. Same with Myles Turner. No way should he get drafted before Russell and Winslow, lol. He can’t even run cool, and what else matters?
Nice job, captain hindsight. Keep up the good "predictions".

T RexI mentioned Smart because he and Oladipo were neck and neck as draft prospects before Smart decided to return for his sophomore season. Fairly similar players, similarly talented, each on quickly developing Eastern teams.
Oladipo is a hell of a talent though, so he very well may end up the better player.
I’ll be comparing their progress for years.
