I’ll start with my ATL Hawks.

We need to go into rebuild mode on draft night. I’d love to see Millsap traded somewhere for a first rounder, and then we draft a couple of solid bigs which are sure to fall in this guard heavy draft (Raab, Bam, Leaf, Allen, etc.)

If there was a way (any possibly way) to move Dwight, we should absolutely do it…unfortunately I don’t think it’s possible. This was really his final chance to swallow his ego, be a part of a winning team, and not make noise. Unfortunately he proved that’s not possible, and what do you know? He’s unhappy again and complaining about the same old things (not being involved in the offense, needing more touches for his trash post game, etc.)

The Hawks REALLY messed up with that signing, and we’d be in great shape if we hadn’t signed Dwight. I honestly don’t think it’s out of the question to just waive him since he’s so toxic to a team environment.

Curious to hear what you all think as well. I really like Bacon, but we drafted THREE wings in the last draft. Have to go with a big here IMO.

What do you guys want to see happen for your favorite NBA team?

As long as we draft someone who doesn’t have an injury history, I think I’ll be fine with the draft. Hopefully, we trade down for more picks since that is where Pat Riley really drafts well. I’m still banking on Zach Collins falling to us but sadly will not happen so yeah.

Draft a three and D guy. If Ferguson shows he can shoot like he did in HS, hes the prime target. If Jackson drops (looking very unlikely now) he would be great. Maybe Kennard if he’s available, although I do wonder about his fit. In short, the Thunder just need shooting from guys who can play enough defense to stay on the court. In reality, they should trade the pick to the Spurs for Engelland, their shooting coach. I’d put money on him being able to fix Roberson

     draft ball at #2

draft wing defender who can gaurd both 2’s and 3’s at pick 28. Not sure who best potential available guy who fits that mold might be. Iwundu, Onunoby and ojeyele are all possible candidates that might fill that role. But ultimately you cant pass on best talent even if its a position you dont need.

As for free agents, DONT make the mistake kupchak did and just sign guys for the sake of saying you did something like last summer(mozgov/deng) we have lots of young guys who are coming up on free agency over next couple years and i would prefer we save money to retain them. Also want the felxibility to go after a paul george if/when he comes available.

Ideally there would be a way we could trade moz/deng without taking on a big contract in return but i dont see that happening.

Brooklyn will take one but we have to give up a pick to do it.   I say we give up our second 1st rounder with Deng and trade him to Brooklyn.

A PF that can stretch the floor or a guard that can run the Point effectively. I wouldn’t mind them going after a Gerald Green, Pau Gasol, Speights, Danilo, or Justin Holiday in FA. That is assuming they can dump Kanter

At 24, get someone who can stretch the floor. I’m hoping Luke Kennard slips a bit as the teams above the Jazz might be looking for a bit of an upside pick thus causing Justin Jackson and Kennard to slip a bit. Utah really struggled with their outside shot in the Warriors series, so they need another shooter, if they have any hope of continuing to make the playoffs and do well once they get there. I don’t want to see them miss the playoffs next year after surprising everyone and taking the 5th seed and then make another surprise by making it to the semis in just their first year in making the playoffs since 2012.

At 30, grab Iwundu who can defend both 2’s and 3’s and continue developing his outside game. I see him as being quite a 3 and D player if he can improve his outside shot.

Don’t draft two bigs as this would really stunt the development of Lyles, just like signing Boris Diaw did so this past season. Don’t try and replace Hayward in case he leaves. You are not going to do that with the 24th and 30th picks in the first round, so don’t even try. Wait to see what he decides to do first, then address it in free agency if necessary. Bank on him staying. The Jazz have made a pretty tough case for Hayward to stay as they have a relatively young team that just made the playoffs for the first time in 5 years and did well there too. So just be confident that Hayward stays and address other needs in the draft. Then we will cross the bridge of replacing Hayward when and IF we get to it.

I do feel like the Jazz need to come away atleast a big in this draft. Especially when Rudy going down gave all of Jazz Nation a scare. So what better way to backup Gobert then fellow Frenchman in Jonathan Jeanne.

For me I like Bacon at 24. Cause the team needs some scoring and the health of AB and Hood concern me moving forward. At 30 I like either Jordan Bell or Jeanne. Reason for Bell is Favors can’t seem to stay healthy as of late, plus Bells hustle on the boards and his shot blocking makes him a interesting prospect especially with drafting in the later part of 1st round.

Im form charlotte so im a die hard fan, we need to blow our team up and aim to keep Zion in the carolinas. We are always stuck in the middle and MJ as good as a player is an awful owner.

76ers need a good wing defender and an off ball shootr at point guard. I think we should take Monk pay him at PG on defense and offer JJ redick a good contract.

    Pg-Monk

    Sg-JJ

    Sf-Ben

    Pf-saric

    C-Embiid

This is easy draft Josh Jackson, G/F, Kansas at the #3 spot and see if you can package those 2 2nds together to move back in and get someone like Ike Anigbogu or OG Anunoby…

This team is primed for a splash so get the best player in this draft in Jackson!

Grizzlies don’t have a draft pick.  Or, much of a future… we are just THERE. 2nd round and out at best.

I would be happy with ANYTHING.

Trade ALL our players for 3 mid-first rounders and 2 late first rounders?  SURE, sounds fun!!!

Swap franchises with the Atlanta Hawks (like anyone would notice)? SURE, sounds fun!!!

Swap names with the Nashville Predators?  What would sound COOLER/MORE DANGEROUS than the Memphis Predators?  SURE, sounds fun!!!

Jackson and Thornwell at 4 and 32, Eurostash or sell the late 2nd rounder.

Already way too much players and youth in the roster.

A starting SF doing all the things the suns need to win more games(or at least a watchable product), very complementary of all the picks in the last 2 seasons.

And a back up SG for Booker, tough, another 2 way player, Thornwell is 2 years older than Booker, lol.

At 32, Josh Hart was my initial pick, a winner, old, i’d gladly take Anigbogu or Bell if available.

Since Jackson shouldn’t be available, draft the annual kentucky guard Fox and trade Bledsoe for a decent bigmen or a starting SF.

In reality trade anybody except Booker and his buddy Ulis, trade Chandler to the Celts, trade Knight and Warren to the Hornets, trade Bledsoe to the pistons…or the spurs.

Im pretty sure Toronto will pick either Jeanne, Bolden or Ojeyele. Toronto had a grueling workout and alot of the players they worked out including TJ Leaf and Tyler Lydon strugggled w are somewhat underrated.ith it yet Semi Ojeyele ran right through it and really impressed although Ujiri likes to make picks he thinks are gems or diamonds in the rough and has a history of picking players that are somewhat underrated. It seems like they are picking an international player this year.
