lukestine13ParticipantOkay i know there has been a million of these and no it doesn’t involve moving Favors and it works according espn trade machine is Utah sends Paul Millsap and either no. 12 or a first rounder next year to OKC for James Harden and either Sefolosha or cole aldrich both players work using trade machine.
Before you get down on this trade according to the adjusted wins this would give OKC a calculated 4 more wins while lowering Utah’s by one i don’t agree with it dropping Utahs i think it makes them better. it gives them a solid SG how long has it been since we had one of those. Here is how Utahs starting line up would look
Devin Harris/Knight assuming we pick him
Hardin/miles
Hayward/sefolosha, Evans
Favors/Faried assuming we keep the 12 and send a first rounder next year
Jefferson/Okur

sammybuckeye13ParticipantGood deal for the Jazz because Millsap’s very expendable now but idk why they would do that, they have their front court for the next 5 years in Ibaka and Perkins and won’t want to change that up.

jerb2011ParticipantAlthough good for Utah, as you saw last night, OKC needs James Harden and it would be dumb to trade him after they see the kind of player he can be. Also, why would they wantto trade within the division?

lukestine13ParticipantWho’s there back ups. Millsap is better than collison

sammybuckeye13Participant…Ok, yeah, Millsap is better than Collison, but the Thunder aren’t going to trade Harden, who’s been arguably their 3rd best player in the playoffs and is only 21, for someone who would be their backup PF. Harden may come off the bench but he’s been playing starter’s minutes for the last couple months, especially in the playoffs, and is being groomed to be their starting SG of the future.

lukestine13Participant2012 draft will be much better than this years. The jazz own the Warriors top seven protected pick and i see them finishing about where they did this year and as OKC has proven they are very good at evaluating talent. Also when they start starting Harden where is your bench production going to come from.

TyroberParticipantThe Jazz have just as good as chance to get Kevin Durant as they do James Harden. He is untouchable

lukestine13Participantwhat happens to OKC chemistry when, not if, but when Harden thinks he should be getting as many touches as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. You think one guy is hurting their chances now wait until their are two of them. Just saying its going to happen eventually.
Also depending on what happens with the new CBA are they going to be able to pay all three of them and have enough to pay 9 other players especially if a hard cap is implemented.
