also says they going after Anthony Randolph.
I’m just wondering if this team wants to play any defense at all, Mayo Beasley Love is horrible at defense, do they not realize defense wins championships. I just don’t get what Minnesota is doing here, Kahn is horrible.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI agree…as a Wolves fan, I don’t get this. We need a PG and a C more than anything, more importantly ones that play defense/are veterans. Mayo would be a 6th man in Minny as well…I don’t get why he wouldn’t like that role, I feel like he’d tear apart second units. Randolph…don’t we already have an absurdly lanky SF in Brewer, and isn’t Brewer more interested in D than Randolph? Neither of these trades make sense to me.

Ghost01ParticipantMayo **could** be a very very good defender. They still dont need him, and Beasely and Love are a disaster on D.

BKKnicksfanParticipantDear David Khan
I’ll take Sebastian Telfair, Kosta Kofous and a 1st round pick for Anthony Randolph. If you want, you can throw us Corey Brewer if you want.
Signed, Every Knick fan in America.

delfamParticipant^ Randolph is not worth a first round pick and Telfair, especially one from the Wolves that’s going to be pretty high.

BKKnicksfanParticipantYou know, Minnesota can lotto protect their pick. Top 15 protected in 2013, Top 10 protected in 2014 and top 5 protected in 2015

JBrace19ParticipantI am a Wolves fan aswell, and i think we need to trade Rubio, Flynn and maybe a pick to get someone who can actually run a team. I still cant believe we wasted a pick on Rubio…

The "dear" part is really much too formal for amounts to an armed mugging of a trade.

omphalosParticipantI don’t see that Darko is playing poor D, he was leading the league in blocks for a while. PG is the real problem, but give Rubio a chance.

Lotto StudParticipantWhat do yall think about Mayo for Rubio straight up or add a throw-in????????
Both players go to teams where they should have been.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d rather have Rubio over Mayo.
Rubio is a pure point guard who makes his teammates better, while Mayo is a tweener who shoots jumpshots.

BKKnicksfanParticipantRubio could create but that’s about it. He cannot defend well nor can he shoot. Mayo is a tweener but I believe he provides value as just that. He can be a 3rd pg for tall lineups and a regular SG.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s not a great defender, but isn’t a poor one either. His jumpshot needs work, but if his work ethic is what they say it is, then he should improve there.
Let Rubio get to the NBA and receive NBA coaching, training, etc. I think he’s going to be a very good pass first point guard who makes his teammates better.

BKKnicksfanParticipantMe personally, I hope Rubio goes to a team where they want him to run the position and he could be THE guy. I think Minnesota is alright but if he doesn’t wanna play there…just move him IMO.
I think Mayo is just in need of a new team.

ilike.panochasParticipantI know he just came back from an injury, but how has he played since coming back? Minnesota needs to start him at the PG and see if he is the answer for the future. His Assist/TO ratio in his rookie year was actually pretty good, I hope they give him a fair shot at the PG spot.

omphalosParticipantI think Rubio would be a great fit with this team as a pass-first PG. Beasley is their go-to guy, Kevin Love is the rebounding machine and Darko is a decent post defender. Haven’t got a chance to see Webster play since his return, but he’s a good option as 6th man or starting SG. The pass-first PG is all that is missing from this team offensively (D is another story entirely) so if they can actually get Rubio to play here we might see a big upswing in a few years.
