Who do you realistically hope your favorite team will draft? Or even who is a prospect you would really like to play for what team?

Me- Lakers I hope draft Bol Bol. It could be a reach, but imo the weight concerns shouldn’t be out weighed by his upside. Hunter would be fine to, but Bol could really turn out to be someone special in the league.

I’d like to see Darius Garland on the Suns.

Guess I’m willing to look over the injury bugs this year. There is a fall after the top 3 though.

Lakers I will be happy with either Deandre Hunter or Jarrett Culver.

The Wolves need to look at players who can bring it on defense and add a competitive edge to the team.

PJ Washington- there seems to be a little disagreement on just how high he will go, but I would love for PJ to be available. He showed some incredible versatility this year, and I think with some improved ball handling he could play the 3-small ball 5. This could be important if Jimmy or Tobi leave.

Tyler Herro- This kid outplayed every expectation set out for him this year. He proved to be a solid defender and can really score at all 3 levels. His athleticism is OK but I would imagine the NBA won’t come as easy for him. Streaky shooter, but has great form. With the Sixers poised to offer big money to Butler and Harris, they might not think it smart to give Redick the contract he deserves. Herro could try to fill that role in time.

    oh yeah… I’m a Kentucky fan

Raptors pick was traded to the Spurs so I’ll speak on that team.

I want them to draft Kabangele. I think he would be a good fit with the team as a active defender/rim protecting PF/C that can space the floor and provide some shooting for Derozan and Aldridge while still giving defence. San Antonio has alot of young gaurds so its about time they invest alot into a big. Poeltl is a good utility big man but he provides no scoring outside of  6 feet from the rim. Kabangele and Poeltl would be a very good Spurs frontcourt longterm for them.

I’d be thrilled if Kabangele fell to the Spurs with their Raptors pick. With their own pick (#18), they need a 3&D wing. It’s true they have lots of young guards, but none with the possible exception of Murray can really slide up a spot and guard larger guys. Rudy is a UFA and Bellinelli couldn’t guard my dog while she pushed a basketball around the room with her nose.

If Okpala or Keldon Johnson are still there at 18, that would be a dream.

First thought, no way either player falls that low but someone always falls to the Spurs in that range so I wouldnt doubt it. Okpala would be an amazing fit.

For Portland it has to be a forward. Mfiondu Kabengele or Louis King are interesting to me. Doumbouya if he slips down.

Indiana – Luka Samanic looks like he has that legit stretch-4 potential in the mold of Nikola Mirotic.

Would be happy with Keldon Johnson or KZ Okpala if we stay at 18.

Spurs — I’m not sure about their first pick, but I love Cameron Johnson going to them with their second first round pick, which is what this website is projecting. Seems like a perfect Spurs fit, would get them a little younger off the bench and probably replace Belineli or something.

Heat- As long as it’s not Rui Hachimura, I think I’m good with it. With so many wing players available at 13, I can’t decide which so whoever it is except Rui.

I would love if Bol Bol fell to 14 for the Celtics, then one of the SGs or SFs at 20 extremely hoping sekou but def not gonna happen so i would be happy with keldon, KZ, Nassir, or NAW. Then at 22 if PJ falls that far I would not mind at all taking him. Then in the second round I would go for a PG. I mean if lecque falls to 51, I’m intrigued by his potential for the future of this franchise especially at pick 51, but I wouldn’t mind Jaylen Hands or Sham Ponds

Doesn’t really matter what I want because Matisse Thybulle is Presti’s wet dream, but there’s 4 guys that stick out to me realistically

    1. Tyler Herro – the league’s worst kept secret is that we need shooting, Herro can get hot and is an underrated shot creator. If Roberson ever comes back healthy, I don’t think his occasional struggles on defense will be that big of a deal. Plus, Kentucky guy

    2. PJ Washington – he basically reminds me of a better Patrick Patterson. Very strong and athletic, good enough size to guard most 4s and good enough quickness to not get roasted by most 3s. Had a great year shooting from 3 and can do a little bit of everything. Also, Kentucky guy

    3. Naz Reid – no particular reason, I just like his game. I like the idea of using him as a Boris Diaw/Nikola Jokic type (if Russ ever decides to move off ball at least)

    4. Cameron Johnson – good size and length, and great shooting. It seemed like every close UNC game I watched, he was the main one getting clutch buckets at the end of the game. If he’s nothing more than a spot up shooter that Russ or PG can swing it to in the corner at the end of the shot clock, I’d be fine with that

     Jazz

    1. PJ Washington-They need a 4 who can shoot the 3 well and defend. Washington can do that. He’s a little small for my taste at the 4 but his long wingspan makes up for it, and out of the bigger 4’s (Reid, and Bassey) he is the best shooter. Reid doesn’t have the attitude Jazz look for nor the passion you need to succeed. Bassey may make a good percentage on the 3’s he takes, but he needs to take more in order to truly see if that precentage can last, also his age is in question and how that might affect his ceiling, and he also went to a mid major so we aren’t certain if his big numbers are legit. But Washington has every thing the Jazz need at the 4, so I can live with him being only 6’8.
    2. Brandon Clarke-Also on the small side but again uses his large wingspan to play exceptional defense. Only problem is that his outside shooting is questionable.

Clarke has short arms (6’8 wingspan). He’s not long at all.

He’s just extremely athletic and great defender.

     1. Trade the 7th pick to Lakers for Lonzo Ball

    2. Draft Coby White. I think he can have a De’Aaron Fox type effect on a non playoff team like the Bulls.

    3. Draft Deandre Hunter (unlikely to fall to #7, but not impossible)

    4. Draft Culver or Reddish

For the sixers I want either

    Matisse Thybulle

Matisse Thybulle, Cameron Jordan, or Jordan Nowra.

I want either D or shooting at the wing spot to help round out the bench and guys like this will also likely be a lot more NBA ready than some of the others around the same spot. Or a guy like who can shoot and defend Mfiondu Kabengele from the 5 spot.

We have so many holes we should just go BPA. Bol Bol intrigues me if he slips, Keldon Johnson is the safer pick though. I’d be happy with either of them.

Sixers need a backup center in the worst way. Boban likely won’t be back because he can’t play against good teams. I would love to see them draft Kabengele. He has good size and strength but also moves fairly well. He really picked it up toward the end of the season. With his improving jumpshot he could play the PF next to Embiid or backup center.

He could thrive in a similar role to Ibaka in Toronto.

     Bulls fan:

Of what I expect to be available at #7, my hope would be that teams pass on Cam Reddish and we benefit. While acknowledging that he had a less than stellar year, people seem to forget that he still put up basically 14-4-2 as an obvious 3rd wheel (at best) on offense and who infrequently had the ball in his hands as things were run by/through Tre Jones, RJ Barrett and Zion. Going from being a primary ball-handler in HS and an unquestioned #1 option to being routinely an afterthought on offense is a huge adjustment. While his shooting numbers struggled, it isnt like he was an abomination (34% from 3 for the season and 77% from FT line). What you can’t teach is his length and ability on defense that I think can translate right away while he continues to physically grow. Cam is one of the few guys who will get outside the top 3 who has all-star type potential. I can see him handling the ball, initiating some offense (especially early-on as a bench guy) who can provide spacing while also benefiting from the spacing the modern NBA provides. 3-point shooting, plus length, "switchability" and some secondary playmaking has me really hoping that he drops. to #7.
