Melo2Amare1ParticipantI saw this the other day on here but nothing was really said about it but after game 6 when the Heat were celebrating knocking out the Celtics none of the Celtics shook hands besides Ray Allen and Doc Rivers. So Kevin Garnett, who dealt with so much public scrutiny this year and Paul Pierce, who is a phuckin baby and little bi tch, didn’t shake hands. When Lebron did this against the Magic there was so much critism spewd towards him and such a big deal was made out of it, but in this instince since they are "champions" they get the slide. Thats BS man. I really don’t even like Lebron, I respect the man cause he is the best basketball player in the world and he suffers from so much critism when hes just trying to do his thing, but I can help but question why there has not been a SINGLE WORD said about it on any of the ESPN debate shows such as Around the Horn, PTI, SportsCenter, or 1st and 10. Just annoying man that those punks can get away with that junk and Lebron can’t cause he’s Lebron, but Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, who are 10x the punks Lebron is but since they won the championship they can get away with it.

bennydabullParticipantThis was discussed before following the game, but yeah it’s not fair. BUT, Lebron James is the best basketball player in the world so that’s why he’s always looked at under a microscope.
Like someone said before, after being knocked out of the playoffs and watching your opponent celebrate like the Heat did, you aren’t going to want to wait around to shake hands.

JJeff6Participanttruthfully i dont see the big deal. sportsmanship is always nice but like benny said, they obvi are not in the best of moods and not going to want to shake hands. I do agree that LeBron not shaking hands was overblown by the media, but this is really just a stupid topic. They are pros and pros do what ymca ball or any crap like that so there is really no big deal at all.

BasterdInABasketParticipantYeah the heat win and they get criticized for celebrating too much. Ok its not even the conf finals but they eliminated their toughest matchup left and getting through boston was the reason they signed in miami together.

kobyzParticipantthe blame should be put on the Heat, they should be looking to shake hands, Boston players doesn’t need to wait for some players to stop crying on the floor…

GTFO man.

BKKnicksfanParticipantWhy should Miami look to shake hands if they won? I think Boston was a little foul about not shaking hands, but it’s neither here or there for me. It just happens sometimes. Remember, we didn’t see all angles.

llperezI had no problem when lebron didn’t shake hands and I have no problem with the celtics not shaking hands. Media just made an issue because it was lebron who did it.
