Lotto StudParticipantFrom the look of this article, Harden will go up in the rafters possibly with both the Rockets and Thunder depending on how much value is placed on his superstar status with the Rockets. Personally, I believe the Thunder doesn’t owe him that type of credit due to giving up on him fulfilling his potential there. Both parties have moved on, and he’s maxed out elsewhere with his performance.
As far as Waiters goes, I believe this was a bad start to deny him the number after putting emphasis of making him feel wanted with a fresh start.

r377ParticipantYes that does not make sense, it is not like they won a championship or any other significant factors. He was a bench player and was not an all-star

NCarmean18ParticipantThat is one of the silliest things that I have ever read. He played three seasons in OKC, didn’t win a championship, came off of the bench, and played very underwhelming basketball in the postseason. That doesn’t make much sense to me at all…

Lotto StudParticipantNow, that I’ve sat back to think on this whole ordeal. Harden is actually the first player in OKC franchise history selected from the draft. I say it’s very valid after the fact of doing some research.

cabbycabParticipantGood grief Thunders, give the guy the number he wants. Way to welcome in your new player.

Lotto StudParticipantNumber Player Position Tenure Number Retirement
- 10 Tim Hardaway G 1996–2001 October 28, 2009
- 23 Michael Jordan G NEVER PLAYED April 12, 2003
- 33 Alonzo Mourning C 1995–2002/2005–2008 March 30, 2009
So much for the front office displaying loyalty to their own city and franchise. This has always been a joke to me. The salt on top of the open wound wouldn’t be as bad, if Jordan didn’t get his "jersey" up before any player within the organization.
If anything, Rony Seikaly should have been up before anyone for becoming the first member on board.

Lotto StudParticipantAt the time of the big move for LeBron, I told everyone this was the biggest visible subliminal within his decision to taking his talents to South Beach, but no one was trying to see or hear me out.
